Dr. Guy is one brilliant and amazing doctor! I’m a 54-year old woman who had a hemorrhagic stroke on May 9, 2023, caused by an undetected heart tumor. The doctor at the NC hospital where I call home wanted to perform open heart surgery to remove the tumor once the blood dissipated from my brain. I didn’t want open heart surgery, so me and my daughter started researching options. We came across Dr. Guy online, so I reached out to him on Friday, May 12 via an online form. The very next day he sent me an email explaining that he tried to call, but couldn’t reach me. He told me that he could help me and to call his assistant on Monday to schedule an appointment. He even cc’d his assistant on the email so she was aware of my situation. He met with me and my husband via video conference, and we felt 100% sure he was the doctor for me! He was very kind, but confident! Dr. Guy made some adjustments to his schedule, and in less than a month after my stroke (as soon as my neurologist released me) he was performing my surgery! After he successfully finished my surgery, he personally went into the waiting room to talk to my husband directly and put his mind at ease. While in the hospital, I saw Dr. Guy each day as he made rounds and I saw him before I was released to drive home to NC. His bedside manner made me and my husband feel completely at ease and confident in his abilities. His interaction with the hospital / office staff demonstrated his desire to ensure processes and procedures were done correctly. We could tell the staff respects him. We met with Dr. Guy one last time via video conference about a month after my surgery before I returned to work! Dr. Guy saved my life, and I wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend Dr. Guy!

I say this man is a rockstar. He did my robotic heart surgery on May 9. Can’t say enough good things about his abilities & the awesome staff
I can't forget how DR ANUGE helped me to restore my marriage after 2 month of separating with my wife out of quarrel and she left and never return back to me, i did so much to get her back but nothing worked out, but not until i saw a comment online when someone was testifying of how DR ANUGE helped her to restored back her husband and that was how i contacted him through his email. (dranuge@gmail.come) After writing my issue out he assured me that he will help me to get back with my wife in 48hours. To cut the long story short, he casted the spell and my wife came back home and pleaded to be accepted back, today i am with my wife and we are both happy and living together again. I know there are many people out there that want to get their lover back please contact DR ANUGE cause he is the perfect answer to your problem. You can get in touch with him through his page 📄 https://www.facebook.com/Dranugespelltemple/
This man not only saved and extended my life through application of his surgical skills but vastly improved the quality of those years!
Dr. Guy, performed my LAD bypass surgery in October of 2021. I am still in great shape and because of his minimally invasive procedure, I barely have any noticeable scars. I tell people that I am a member of the “button club” not the “zipper club” thanks to Dr Guy. I liked Dr. Guy the first time he spoke to me. He made me and my family very comfortable throughout the entire process. I consider myself so blessed that he was around when I needed my heart surgery!
Dr. Guy removed a myxoma from my left atrium one year ago and I’m happy to report all going well. I had been frustrated by only finding open heart options for surgery in my area with long wait times to see doctors even though myxoma’s need to be removed as soon as diagnosed. Dr. Guy responded to my email late one evening immediately after I emailed him, and scheduled a call for the next day. He was the only surgeon who said we needed to act quickly, and after a week of additional tests I was on my way to Philadelphia. Dr. Guy and his team at Jefferson were amazing. He even came up to the prep ward and took me down himself when there was a shortage of nurses due to Covid. As hoped, robotic worked out, and while no walk in the park, I was up and out of the hospital the next day eating breakfast at an outdoor cafe, exercising within ten days, and doing 60 mile bike rides within a few months. Scars are almost imperceptible. Very glad I found Dr. Guy and was able to get robotic vs open heart.
Dr. Guy has an energy that makes you feel like you're in good hands. He performed a valve replacement robotically on me. The surgery was a success. I feel like I have my life back. He even gave my brother an update on my condition while he was out having dinner. He didn't have to answer the call, but he did. He was truly a God send!
This review is a follow-up to my surgery performed by Dr. Guy December 2, 2020 (a one-year ago period). Surgery done was a mitral valve repair. My recovery has progressed pretty much as Dr. Guy had described in the lead-up to it. Three months post-surgery, I had recovered physically from the procedure, right-side of my front chest remained in a "frozen-type" feeling, but no pain whatsoever. I began a walking program about this time, walk likely 3/4 days a week, averaging 2 to 4 miles depending on circumstances. Six months out, I was able to return to a bit of a run-walk program, again maintaining same activity and mileage schedule. (I was fortunate, prior to surgery I was an active runner, so I was careful, yet able to return to an activity that I enjoy). My local cardiologist monitors my recovery, performed both a six month and a one-year echocardiogram, and all is in order. I am scheduled for a follow-up in another six months which helps give you confidence that all is in order. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Dr. Guy and his team to anyone in need of this procedure. At the time of surgery, when brought into the operating room, you discover what a large team of trained people are involved and appear quite confident each knows their job and it is a real team effort. Lastly, this sense of teamwork followed into the immediate post surgery recovery period. It has all proven to be a very reassuring experience. I thank each of them.
I was very, very pleased with my experience at Jefferson - especially Dr. Guy and his team. The office staff was very helpful and patient while I was gathering all the necessary reports from various sources prior to the surgery. Dr. Guy was very attentive and explained everything before and after the surgery. He made me feel at ease. I was even surprised that he came to see me on a Saturday. The hospital staff was wonderful and very efficient in caring for my needs. I was impressed with the care and attention of the staff doctors after I left the hospital. Every time I called they were to answer my questions and concerns. My rehabilitation was less than 2 weeks. Now here I am almost 4 months after the surgery. I am well and back to my former routines. My cardiologist had me wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks. There were no arrhythmias during the monitoring session. I feel great and am down to only one heart medication. I am walking over a mile each day and play pickellball a few time a week. My blood pressure is down, and all my former pain is gone. I am forever grateful to Dy. Guy and his team and would recommend him and Jefferson to anyone

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
