I cannot say enough good about Dr. Walker. I was thrilled with the surgery he performed on me. He gave me back my dignity. He is a caring doctor with a wonderful bedside manner and today, this is special in itself. Highly recommend him as a surgeon. I was blessed to have been in his hands. NGHS, take care of your stars!

I can't say enough about Dr. Walker. Performed a very extensive surgery on me 3 years ago. I had to track him down after leaving Columbia because i have a reoccurring issue that everyone else brushed off. I am very blessed to have met him.

Dr. Walker is probably one of the most stellar surgeons in Columbia. His skills are top-notch and yet, his demeanor and bed-side manner rise beyond that. My husband and I recommend Dr. Walker without reservation.

My primary physcian referred me to Dr. Walker for my gall bladder removal. I was able to get an appointment quickly for a consultation. He had reviewed my sonogram and due to the number of stones and past history he recommended the gall bladder be removed. Dr. Walker took enough time to review what the procedure would be like and ensuring i was comfortable with his explanation. He has a great bedside manner. I consulted with a colleague's wife that is a nurse and her report cemented descion.

I have had over 20 different surgeries and have never had an experience as good as I had with Dr. Walker and both office staffs. He was engaged, attentive and ensured I understood the situation and elaborating on every question, sometimes with a question. His 'bedside manners' and compassion were remarkable, too bad he is not a general practitioner.
