Tyler Smith Md's Online Review Report Card

Referred almost 4 months ago then finally got the call 2 months ago with another 6 weeks to get in. Then another 1.5hours in the waiting room. Doctor didn't do any exam of any kind and just went over the MRI as I sat there. There was no discussion of a treatment of any kind, and I left expecting to hear something, but I didn't. I finally contacted them and was told, "Although Dr Smith is a surgeon, he doesn't do surgery"... He'll do the exact same thing my referring Doctor does which is injections and of course the "go to" script of useless PT.

He treated my husband on multiple occasions - he has the best personality when meeting and dealing with his patients but also their family members too. And that’s the sprinkles on the sundae because the main priority is his medical/surgical skills….he’s a genius!!

Nightmare!! Would not see me for consultation after scheduling, and sends in a P.A. that threatened me instead of explaining the procedure, says its not recommended, after threatening again "I won't be holding the knife", & "well, who knows what can happen in surgery" - Who says these things?

I went to the doctor and ended up being pressured to pick a date for surgery by a high pressured car salesman. I felt so uncomfortable and I just wanted out of there. It's so disappointing because Dr. Smith came highly recommended.

I have received incredible care through Dr. Smith & his entire team! Everyone in the office is SO nice & helpful. They have made my every appointment so easy & have answered all of my questions very thoroughly & in a quick, timely manner. Dr. Smith has changed my life!

Our experience with Dr Smith, and his team, has been great from the beginning. It's obvious that they are experienced and care about the well being of their patients. At just 2 weeks into the recovery period I can say that I would recommend Dr Tyler and his team, and I would use them again if it were necessary. They have provided excellent care.

Dr. Smith and his entire staff made me feel welcomed and treated me not just like a patient but as a friend. I have felt completely comfortable at all times while in their care and my case has not been the easiest.

I've been in severe back pain for more than ten years and knowing there is someone to finally help me is of such great comfort. Dr. Smith, staff and GetWell Loop with Brian have made for a XLIF procedure w/ hardware surgery and recovery amazing. Dr. Smith’s daily objectives prior to and after surgery had me very prepared. My back pain had me hunched over and walking painfully crooked for years. 17 days post op and I’m still walking upright and feeling good. Dr. Smith, Brian, Samantha and staff are always there for me.

Dr.Smith was great in detailing my procedure and concerns throughout my surgery. He has a great team behind him as well. Dr Smith listens and is very caring.
