Augusta University Care Center Lake Oconee's Online Review Report Card

Avoid this firm. This is a very unprofessionally run office. I have been waiting for a month for them to provide my medical records to another doctor, but they have not done so. A visit to their office was useless -- they refused to provide me a copy of my records, saying those can only be issued from the office in Augusta. Yes, the doctor can view your records while seeing you, but they cannot print and provide them to you. A year ago, this office dropped the ball and did not perform a pre-op test for my wife, which was not disclosed to us until the day prior to the procedure (and resulted in postponement of the procedure). That issue was also met with excuses.

Just straight unprofessional, been trying for WEEKS to get them to fax over my child's medical records. They continue to stall and send me in circles! They never answer the damn phone and when they do they have the audacity to be rude about it

Always gets us in quickly and super friendly folks. So glad we switched providers!

Made appointments for our children on 3 separate occasions specifically to get their shots for school. Each time they did have the shots (the whole reason for the appointments) or the doctor was not even there for the appointment time. Extremely unorganized and not much accountability in the office either. If you can, AVOID this office.

I've been taking my 11 month old daughter there to see Dr. Roberts since she was born and I have regretted it since the beginning. Dr. Roberts seems to be a good doctor, but their office hours and availability is horrible. He is the only pediatrician in the building and they offer such limited hours that its impossible to get in touch with anyone or to be seen when there's a sickness emergency. More than once, my calls have rolled over to their Augusta branch because they haven't turned on their phone lines yet even though they are open. Both times my daughter has been sick, I've had to take her to the urgent care center (the week AFTER Christmas and again last week). Dr. Roberts has currently been out of office since before my daughters 9 month checkup in April 2022, and I was told two days ago that he will not be back until the end of the summer. The pediatric branch of this doctors office should be closed. If your only pediatric doctor is out of office for more than 4 months, you do not need to advertise pediatric services (and who knows if he will really come back or if he actually just retired and they're not telling the truth). When your infant/baby is sick, you will not be able to get in touch with them or be seen. I hope some new moms/expecting moms read this and take this into consideration. I wish someone would have warned me because its a very scary and helpless feeling when your little one is sick and you don't have a pediatrician you can count on. I want to add that the nurses and office staff have always been very friendly and polite! I like everyone I have met there, but that's irrelevant when you have a sick child that can't be seen by her pediatrician.

Can never get in touch with them. Drove all the way there to sign release forms because they wouldn't let me make an appointment without me filling out that paperwork.... now they won't answer the phone or call me back( I left a voicemail). Guess I will be going to Macon.

I've always had a pleasant experience with Doctors and the staff. Nice to have primary care physician that really CARES.

EVERY TIME I visit this office I wait 15 minutes past the appointment time in the lobby and then another 15 minutes in an exam room before seeing a doctor. The first time in 4 years that I’m 12 minutes late, my appointment is cancelled. Seems like with all of the extra time they build in for themselves, they could be a little more generous when someone else is running behind schedule.

Very disappointed..

The staff at this office is always accommodating and caring. The physicians are very knowledgeable and helpful.
