I took a friend writhing in pain from a kidney stone to emergency room. After1 hour of walking in the waiting room and crying in pain she had still not seen a triage nurse. Is this where our system has come too? Doesn’t Greene county subsidize this hospital? Maybe there should be money allocated to serving patients instead of maintaining this huge facility at tax payer expense. She told desk clerk she was leaving as she could cry and hurt at home. The desk clerk asked to cut off her wrist band and wished her luck Woman is writhing in pain and the clerk wishes her luck Won’t go back to this place ever

I went to this hospital on 9122021 for a leg injury the nurse who check my blood pressure temperature etc. was very RUDE Very Aggressive and also sounded sick . She was so rude to the point that I no longer wanted medical attention from that hospital she acted as if She didn’t want me there I wasn’t able to catch her name but I will report

The staff were great. They took excellent care of me. Thanks for helping me when I was sick and in pain.

I dont recommend this hospital. Who sends patients home with severe issues and recommend they come back on the following week for an ultrasound? As always I took the initiative to take my parents to Piedmont where they admitted them and had to do surgery. Please staff take more concern in a patients well being. Dont send people home to worsen or die . Its very simple to access and go the extra mile.

I have nothing but good things to say. I cant speak as to how this hospital is about everything but being from out of state and needing medical attention for my son that had been sick all night and actually walking out of another hospitals ER because of how bad the service was I can say that when I called just to make sure we wouldnt be waiting forever the person I spoke to actually checked to see how busy it was and was very friendly and reassuring about the fact that he wouldnt have a long wait. When we got there the security at the door was very polite they checked temps for covid. My son is an adult and I was told I would need to wait outside until he was in a room. He was in a room within 5 minutes. I went back and he was already being seen by a nurse practitioner. She did an exam and then he had blood drawn an IV started and given medicine. This was all within 15 minutes. Discharge instructions were clear and he was given them in writing as well. we left with prescriptions and directions to the nearest pharmacy.I am a nurse and fully aware of how hospitals operate and this one is well above average and I wouldnt hesitate to use it again. We are staying in a VRBO and I will also let the owner of our house what good service we received at this hospital.

I give the Drs and the nurses actual 5 stars at this facilities. The 1star goes out to the rude condescending disrespectful security guard on graveyard shift. Steven Bugg thats right Mr.bugg spoke to me and my wife whom was Their patient with no respect with a condescending tone.I understand times are tough for all our medical heroes during these trying times.With that being said it gives him no right to make us fell that uncomfortable. Like we literally made the chose to leave at 3am just to go to another hospital.To start the whole intake process all over again at another medical facility. So thank you Mr.Bugg keep treating the patients with little or no respect and soon all people will find other medical treatment.The smart thing for Saint Marys would be simple find a new security guard.

Not the best

Went in ER for severe back pain after being in bed for 3 days couldnt even walk. They gave me a pain pill and muscle relaxer then sent me on my way. No xrays nothing. Here it is 6 days later and still in bed unable to walk. 9 days of pain and suffering. Very disappointed in effort to help resolve the issue

The ER staff at this hospital is fantastic From the registration to the excellent timely care I received in the middle of the night I highly recommend this hospital. I cannot thank them enough.

I will go here from now on In and out in an hour..
