Robert Suykerbuyk's Online Review Report Card

This “doctor” has dismissed me and several others from an entire practice of physicians where we can no longer be seen by the 20+ physicians across the CSRA at any office. He does so without explanation, without warning, and will not even speak with you about it. He refused a type 1 diabetic her insulin that she has been taking for 10+ years. He dismissed me and took me off of a controlled substance suddenly and without any counseling, help, etc. What would he have done if I had a negative reaction to being pulled off such heavy medication and hurt myself due to the depression and anxiety? I’ve heard horror stories about the way he treats his “patients.” I can’t believe this man is allowed to practice medicine, his patient “care” is deplorable, and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Doesn't care about patients, only your money. Lies about what treatments are best for you only so he benefits more from the products he is recommending. Don't waste your time - he's the type that gives Dr's a bad name... Sad..

I have found Dr. Suykerbuyk to be unusually helpful in identifying the causes of the symptoms I have, and to be quite caring in the ongoing treatments of the conditions. He takes time to explain the science behind what is happening and the options for treatments, and he considers my concerns in deciding the best course of action. He is an excellent GP, and I recommend him highly!

Dr. Suykerbuyk treats the whole patient/person. He has been my Dr for a long time thru some scary and not so scary times. He is very thorough, he listens, he works with me and is very open-minded.

Terrible doctor, he does not care about his patients well being. He only cares about money. Very Dismissive, does not listen.

I knew him when he was in the Military at Fort Gordon and he has been my doctor for over 8 years. He is the most caring, professional and truly amazing individual.

I seeing Dr Suykerbuyk for years and it was good.In 2015 started feeling bad and had stomach pain.I told him of this and told him I needed time off to find the problem.He says I've done all types of test and there is nothing wrong ,scheduled colonoscopy performed by Dr.Curtis. Says everything looks good, needless to say I'm mad and don't want to see Dr. Suykerbuyk because he didn't believe I felt bad ,thinking the pain would go away, it got worse .Went to emergency room in 2016 they could i had c diff. It still has not been properly treated even after telling primary doctors Dr.Embery and Dr. Jester as well as 2 gi doctors Dr. Curtis and Dr. Lal.

Does not fully listen or care for his patients. I've had numerous of unpleasant encounters within the office. He maintains uneducated and rude staff in his office that are not willing to help. I will not return.

He maintains a rude and uneducated staff. Dr. Suykerbuyk completed extra and unnecessary tests than we discussed which cost me hundreds of dollars. I had to fight the practice for months to get it removed from my bill. I will not return.
