A very detail-oriented and thorough nephrology clinic plus. The underlying issues such as medication, blood pressure, diet, history and what you want to be your end result are all addressed and monitored closely. Dr. Iyad Barakat is a very kind and caring doctor who will provide the best services that he can to benefit his patients. It was an honor to see him in action several years ago... I've been witness to several patients who are still here with us today because of the efforts of the HTN & Kidney Associates Team. Simple Kidney/urination issues to full blown dialysis..... the patients never have to worry about "slipping through the cracks"... I would recommend Dr. Barakat and Dr. Aslam to anyone that I may come across with uncontrolled HTN/Kidney issues/or possible dialysis or transplant issues!!! They will do all they can!!! Thanks!! For each opportunity and the knowledge that I gained working with two of the best Nephrologists available!!! :) smkipp

I was Dr. Barakat's patient a few years ago and since returning to the area, felt that I should continue care with him as I was pleased before. My return was not as great as I remember it. I was unable to get in touch with his office. No one answered the phone in the three times I called. I left a message and did not receive a call back. I feel that his staff is subpar and unprofessional. I visited the office twice and wasn't pleased either time. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Dr. Barakat is an awesome doctor and I would recommend him to anyone but I just can't deal with unprofessional staff members.

Dr. Barakat is one of the most caring doctors I know. I feel my health has improved since seeing him . He takes the time to examine and test you throughly. He does not rush in and out like most doctors. I would recommend him to anyone
