My husband "Irish Joe" Michaels was there almost 7 years and the staff and CNAs'were so good to him. The only negative I have is the laundry was always bad, messy and shirts got torn and bleach on colored items. I would suggest that a member of the family come at least once a week to check the your family member and arrange the drawers with clothes I would like to suggest to Chatuge something other than religion music played such as soft rock or folk. would have been nice. .I heard Mike Kephart from Hayesville is now there and he is wonderful and CNH is lucky to have him. If and WHEN I ever have to go to a nursing home my choice will be Chatuge Nursing Home.. It's clean and always decorated for every different holiday which makes it nice. Their dining room is nice and the patients get to choose one of two meals while they are in the dining room. I would sometimes came and eat with Joe. The food is not bad. I would recommend here to anyone. I'm fussy so my 4 stars are with meaning. Keep the good work up.! God Bless you all.
