Such nice staff in the ER. Went in because my daughter’s new ear piercing was embedded in her ear lobe. Not a super long wait. Doctor was attentive and one of the nurses came in to help get the ear ring out. No pain, no fuss. We’ve been coming to Hiawassee for over 15 years from Central Florida and love the mountain air and mountain hospitality. That hospitality was front and center at this hospital - Thank you!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE.. The nurse's and Doctors treat you like a 3 world 🌎 country. To many bad reasons not to go. You'll see for yourself if you visit. I just hope for your family are not there for a life or death situation. Call your local veteran, the care would be better. Good Luck 👎

The staff was friendly and calm. I never felt rushed and they were attentive to my needs. Like family. Thanks guys!

Beware. This hospital has predatory billing practices. Any visit to any of their branches will result in excessive charges being applied, whether you have actually visited the hospital or not. Billing department is a mess with requests for further information going unanswered for weeks. Choose anyone other than this facility for your care.

Nurse literally told me the ER turned someone away bc they had no money! So unless you have insurance or cash on hand go the the next closest hospital in Blairsville. And half the drs don't want to treat you or believe what you are saying...

Excellent front staff at emergency department courteous and professional. Wait time less than 30 minutes and nursing staff very well trained and polite. Doctor was prompt to evaluate and trrat my injury and overall great experience aside from being injured . I was in and out in roughly 2 hours and normally I would have been waiting to seen longer than that much less tr rated and released. Keep up the good work

I had to come here at 1 AM for a foot problem from Helen, GA. We were only visiting and my foot was extremely inflamed so I drove over the hill and through the woods to get to this hospital. The drive itself was so scary but when I go to the ER they took really good care of me and the dr gave me meds that knocked out the inflammation fast and I was able to sleep when I got back to the cabin. We are stationed at Langley, VA and I was upset I had to go to a place I never been but was very happy they took care of me fast and was all very nice and the dr was very knowledgeable on what to prescribe considering I was pregnant and did not pressure me to taking medicine I didn’t think was safe, and he reassured me everything would be OK. Thank you!

Recently our mom was admitted to the Swing Bed Rehab area of the hospital and our emotions were high because our mom had a stroke and was being transported from Kennestone and we didn't know what lay ahead for her. Before we made the decision to have her close by in a rehab facility I called and spoke with the head individual over the Swing Bed Rehab. I immediately felt a calm and peace with the care that was told to me of the care our mom would receive. The director was courteous, professional and beyond willing to help us get things worked out so mom could be admitted to the facility. Once there, I cannot even tell you the care from everyone! From the nurses, to the therapist to the directors over rehab it was nothing but excellent care. They went above and beyond for our mom, us and her continued care beyond her discharge. We have been blessed and thankful for such a wonderful experience.

My fiancé went here and it was all good at first but they told me that when she gets a room in the er, I can go with her, she texted me telling me she had a room, then they told me that I can’t go see her because no visitors, they should really start backing up what they say and do something right...
