List of Wellstar Health System's Reviews
I have Diastolic Heart Failure and was recently admitted to Wellstar Paulding Hospital due to an episode set off by asthma. The bad cough and not being able to breathe was pretty scary this time. Now enters my Care Team at Paulding....the level of care was amazing!! From the ER...to the team in the Cath Lab and recovery... to my 7th Fl. Care Team...(Karica, Jaire, Janice, Jasmine, Jeff, Johnson, and if I left your name out, please charge it to my head and not my heart because I love each and every one of you!!) Not only did you make my situation bearable, but you made me feel like a Queen!! I can never truly express my gratitude to Dr. Ibekwe and Dr. Ghandi and Cardiology Team. God Bless all of you!! ❤️
I never saw a doctor. The Nurse Practitioner sent me away while acknowledging that I could aspirate in my sleep.
Dr. Costa in Pediatric Emergency is extremely rude. I was asking a question about what we were there for (thinking she had seen it before) and she said in the smartest way possible “I don’t know! I’m not a dentist!” What a rude way to treat people. She also made snarky comments about us and I’ll leave it at that. Very unprofessional.
This place is one of the worst I have ever encountered.
You need to do something about the security guards you got working in the ER being rude the people that are sick and can’t walk. Telling them don’t care if the are sick the can’t sit in the wheelchair cause they can’t breath. Thankfully Douglasville Wellstar took care of the patient. Worst Hospital EVER!!!
I was sent here by the urgent care doctor who wanted to send me by ambulance, but I said my wife ccould drive me. He was afraid that I was experiencing a pulmonary embolism. Due to my elevated heart rate and shortness of breath. I arrived at 5:30 p.m. and it is now 1:42 a.m.I have had an EKG and one blood draw and was told that am still fourth in line. Several people have been called back and Im still sitting here sweating with an elevated heart rate and short of breath. What do I have to do? Code in ur waiting room?
This is a mickey mouse hospital, not the fun kind. I wouldn't take a stray animal here, it would be inhumane. The lack of F given here is comical. Just walk in and look around at all the employees and tell me this is a great place to be treated? You can't.
most wonderful staff. I spent several weeks at Paulding in 2019/ 2020..Several trips. the staff an doctors were very patience an gentle with me. they did all they could an definitely saved my life. when we ran into the things that was to much they transported me to kennastone. they was excellent an communicated with each other an today I am ready to live the rest of my life . they didn't quit till they fixed me Thank you all.....5th floor at both ICU at both. was above the best. . I will only go to Wellstar .....
I want to thank the staff at paulding hospital from the housekeeping, kitchen staff, floor techs, mri peeps, nurses and doctors for their amazing care. it costs zero dollars to be a decent person and you guys really care about your patients. I spent 3 days there with mastitis/sepsis away from my babies and husband. It was a traumatizing experience to go thru that type of sickness and I am so thankful for your team that helped me get better as quickly as possible.
On Aug 3 at 4 am it took us 3 hours in waiting room for my wife to go back. Rediciulous

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
