Just experienced him on teledoc who canceled my appointment 1 minute into me not being on video
The staff and Dr Ellis are wonderful. He is very understanding as a senior I believe he is my angel..I feel like I struck gold..Go way beyond with kindest in that office.
I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Ellis for over 4 years now and I can confidently say that he is a true gem in the medical field. Dr. Ellis is an exceptional primary care physician who goes above and beyond to listen to his patients and genuinely cares about their well-being. He takes the time to understand their concerns and works tirelessly to find the best treatment options for them. His compassionate and caring approach has truly made a difference in my life and I am grateful to have him as my doctor. If you're looking for a physician who truly cares about your health and well-being, I highly recommend Dr. Shannon Ellis - he is a 5-star doctor in every way!
Horrible! The worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. He does not listen to his patience, and he only have 15min with him and he is gone. He stays on the computer the hold 15 min.
Only doctor I will see.
I can honestly say that this office is the worst I have ever been too. Communication is horrible. I went for a prescription refill appointment and they failed to call in the meds. When questioned, they said I would need to make a new appointment. I discussed my meds with Dr Ellis 3 times during the appointment and each time he said he would send in the refills. Never happened. Follow through and communication could not be worse.
Horrible communication with patients and staff. Staff is rude and not helpful. Honestly worst experience with a doctors office in my life.
Dr. Ellis was my father's PCP briefly. He found him pleasant (his staff, too, though not for us dealing on his behalf), but not the objective of medical care. After my healthy & active 72-yo dad went in having felt a pop in his rib from routine activity, Dr. Ellis did no testing, prescribed a painkiller. Around the same time, my dad became very lethargic & was dropping weight at a rate of >1 lb per day, which he thought may be a side effect of the drug, so he called, discontinued the med, & scheduled a follow up. Even as he continued to have no energy or appetite, Dr. Ellis again ran no tests & just prescribed a nausea med. As he got weaker with less appetite while being pushed out for appt, he resorted to going to the ER where they found a broken rib but also pancreatic cancer. The lack of records documented & concern for his symptoms to test meant we lost him 12 days later, never treating the cancer. I don't blame him for the disease but would fear for attention to detail & symptoms.
Attentive, positive reactions with treatment, will keep you well and active more than anyone I have ever experienced.
I have seen this doctor a couple of times and he is nice enough. I have been trying to get a refill for over a week now with no success. It is for sleeping medicine and I have been out. I have been getting about 2 hours of sleep for 4 nights now. I have called, the pharmacy called, I left messages to no avail. My previous would call my scrip in no problem. This one says I have to schedule a visit. Next available is 3 weeks out. apparently the office is not giving info or he is too busy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
