I would definitely recommend a second opinion. Do not waste your time with this doctor. He will discriminate against his patients and violate their patient rights. If you are having any serious GI issues I urge you to contact a more competent doctor.

FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR! I am sharing my experience hoping that it will help others find a doctor who will truly help them! Dr Perrino would have let me die because he wasn't willing to listen! He ordered a CT scan and I was told that he saw nothing on it. I was having extreme abdominal pain every time I tried to eat, and hadn't actually eaten solid food in over 3 weeks at that point! After the CT scan where he found nothing, he wanted to schedule some other test in 3 more weeks! At my wits end, a friend recommended another dr in Atlanta. I called her office, and she said bring the ct scan results and come immediately; that day! Upon looking at the results, she instantly saw a problem and said that I could not eat again until I had an ERCP; a procedure to go into the bile ducts and pancreas. My common bile duct was 3 TIMES TOO LARGE AND HE DIDN'T SEE IT!! My duct was completely blocked and every time I tried to eat my PANCREAS WAS DIGESTING ITSELF! The pain was debilitating to the point of blacking out! I asked her how another doctor could have missed this, and she had no good answer! He refused to listen when I suggested that I felt like it was something with my pancreas. When the new doctor showed me that the measurement was noted as abnormal, even I knew that must indicate a problem! He seemed nice enough, but if a docter misses something so obvious that is spelled out on scan results, what kind of doctor are they? He seemed nice enough, but I didn't need nice, I needed a competent dr, and believe me HE ISN'T IT!

My experience with Dr. Perrino was very pleasant. He is knowledgeable, kind and put me at ease immediately. The staff was welcoming, very friendly and offered explanations as to what would happen during my procedure and everything went exactly as it should have. I would recommend him for all your digestive questions and procedures.

Would not recommend this doctor or this practice. Got major run around, office staff rude and basically took the "not my department" attitude.

Dr Perrino is very professional and explains in detail everything that’s going on with you. His staff are the same.

Dr. Perrino is a good doctor. I was pleased with him and his care. For the most part his staff was great. The front desk was more than helpful and friendly. His nurse or medical tech was not. Maybe she’s not a people person, but she didn’t introduce herself or smile once. I was relieved when the doctor had a personality to accompany his knowledge.

We retired in Blue Ridge. I had gastro problems before that. Was nervous. God blessed me with a good find in a doctor. Very thorough. On top of his patients!
