Children's Dental Zone's Online Review Report Card

Really just an outstanding practice. It’s clearly designed for children and families from the ground up—whether it’s the fun tunnel for young kids to crawl through at the entrance, the open lobby with all the activities (and a Starbucks nook), or the patient areas with plenty of seating for parents and caregivers, everything is family-forward. Also a special thank you to the hygienists, Dr. King, and Dr. Procter for making our three kiddos feel completely at-ease throughout and offering such warm and compassionate care!

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this was important to share. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and very kid-friendly. We saw Dr. Diaz and Dr. King, and both seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine pediatric dental visit. From the start, we were told it would be $505 per child for X-rays, exam, and cleaning, which felt extremely high. Then we were offered a “membership plan” for $330 per year that included two visits, X-rays, and cleanings. That clearly made more sense, so we signed up. However, at checkout, they still tried to charge me additional fees for X-rays that were supposedly included in the plan. I had to push back, and only after speaking with the office manager did they remove the charges. That kind of billing confusion is very concerning, especially in a pediatric setting where you expect transparency and trust. It left a bad impression and felt misleading. We will not be returning.

I have always had a good experience with CDZ previously but have felt they try to charge you for unwanted and unneeded expenses the last couple of years. My 20-yr old daughter is home from college for 2 days and needs a cleaning before graduation. She has a regular "adult" dentist that she recently started seeing but that office happens to be closed on Friday, which is the day she was home from school for a visit. I called CDZ as she has been their patient and explained the situation and that she just needs a cleaning only. They told me they would move some patients around and get her in for the cleaning. I get a text from my daughter while she is there letting me know they insists on doing x-rays and an exam along with the cleaning and there is an out-of-pocket expense. When I called the front desk to ask abt this, the receptionist was standoffish and placed me on a very long hold. When she came back to the phone, I was told the dentist was halfway through the exam and I would be charged. I have a younger son who goes to CDZ, but I will definitely be looking for another dentist now after this experience. I hope the cost of that exam was worth the loss of a patient. I truly feel that unnecessary procedures are pushed to maximize profit. And they will do so in the manner that is most convenient to them. Upon reading other reviews, I see my experience is not unique.

My 2 year old daughter had her first dentist appointment here today and it went amazing! I really loved how the entire staff was just so friendly, welcoming and sweet to my girl. Instead of what could have been a scary experience for most kids Mia seemed to be very comfortable and had such a great time here. We loved the slide, theater, being able to watch bluey and wearing cool sunglasses and the prize machines at the end of the visit.

Absolutely loved everything about the office. Everybody was kind and very interactive with my daughter. It was her first visit and it could not have gone better!

We recently brought our 3.5 yr old in for multiple procedures under sedation, and while we were VERY nervous going in, the entire team was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive from start to finish. They cared not only for our daughter’s comfort but for our comfort as parents as well, which meant so much during a stressful experience. A very special thank you to Dr. Trey, the anesthesiologist. He was so kind, calm, and so sweet with our daughter… I honestly don’t think I could have walked out of the room without feeling the level of trust I did because of him. We felt completely comfortable leaving our daughter in his hands. Dr. King, Tasha, Genny and all the staff were so gentle, thoughtful, and clearly very experienced with young children. We are so grateful for the care our family received and would absolutely recommend this practice to other parents.

This dental office is absolutely amazing! It was our first time visiting the dentist for my two year old and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The coordinator Paula was so kind and made us feel so welcomed. Our hygienist Nancy did an incredible job making sure our toddler was happy and comfortable. Nancy sang with our daughter while cleaning her teeth and made her experience so incredibly special. We really were so happy to see this interaction. Dr. Diaz and her assistant Sarahi were also so knowledgeable and heartwarming. From beginning to end, our experience was fantastic! Love this place, wonderful staff! We will be back and will be recommending to all our family and friends!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough amazing things about Children’s Dental Zone and their entire sedation team. Ashton had a BIG procedure — 8 teeth pulled and a frenectomy — and as a parent, that’s not an easy decision. But from start to finish, they made this experience as smooth, reassuring, and positive as it could possibly be. The communication was absolutely incredible every step of the way. We always knew exactly what was happening, what to expect, and felt completely supported throughout the entire process. That level of care and transparency means everything. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the entire team — the Director of Sedation Services, Tasha (Sedation Coordinator), Vanessa (Dental Assistant), Genny and Dr. Diaz. You were all so kind, patient, and attentive, and it truly shows how much you care about your patients and their families. The biggest testament? Ashton STILL wants to go back and see you all again — even after everything he went through! That speaks volumes. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — 100 stars without hesitation. Thank you for taking such incredible care of my son and making what could have been a stressful experience feel safe, calm, and even positive. 💙🦷

Great dental office. Waiting room is lots of fun for kids with slide, games, theatre. It also has a coffee bar for adults and free bottled waters! However, they started a new policy of making parents go back with their children while they are getting their teeth cleaned. I used to enjoy the break from my kids in the waiting room, but you don’t get that any longer.
