List of Georgia Cancer Specialists - Johns Creek's Reviews
Such pathetic receptionist. She doesn’t know how to schedule new patients appointment.
That are the very BEST of the BEST! A+++ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
So far so good. Front desk is fast and courteous. The nurses are amazing. The dr answered all of the questions. The only thing is I never got any appointment reminders.
The receptionists have some issues. I do not know what it is but they have. It began with a phone call from Georgia Cancer Specialists which I missed to take. I returned the call back and the receptionist (a male nurse)was like "did u bother to listen the voice message before giving a call"! I asked him straight "is it wrong to return a call without listening to voice message". He said oh its fine its fine and talked with a smile for that moment. The next appointment as soon as I entered the reception room, he is like "take a seat. Someone will call you" which I did. And there is another nurse named "Kimberly". Both ignored deliberately. I dont know why? I didnt even talk to this other nurse. I waited for 20 minutes and even when they are done greeting new patients and no one is there, both the nurses deliberately ignored to check me in. I came to the desk and no one looks at me. At last when I came to the male nurse desk, he is like " oh, I will check you right now. Thanks for ur understanding"! When I asked him, "why wasnt I called even when I came early and all others who came later were checked in", his simple answer was " we were busy"....REALLYY. Its like school bullies bullying as a group. My suggestion to the other female nurse, " do not spoil your relation with patients without knowing what is going on" NOTE: The nurses though were really good. Thank You for the nurses! The two stars is for the nurses! I cancelled my next appointment at this Johns Creek location.
I was referred to the medical staff at the Georgia Cancer Center of Johns Creek upon my diagnosis of breast cancer and placed under the care of Dr Subbannan. I can honestly say that Dr Subbannan is exactly the person you want guiding your care and leading your treatment plan. She is smart, compassionate, with an abundance of patience, answering all your questions, settling your heart and mind at ease. On top of this, she is a warm person who clearly cares about her patients and does a great job explaining the health challenges and the plan of action she is recommending. The staff working alongside Dr Subbannan are the most compassionate group of medical professionals you could ask for. Your comfort, both physical and emotional, are their top priority. They quickly became my extended family. I promise, you are in good care in the trusted and skilled hands of the professional team at the Georgia Cancer Center.
I was a patient of Dr. J, she is a great provider, however the man at the front check in has some other issues. My approach was at 10:45am, I was abruptly told to take a sit and I would be called. After multiple hours had past watching multiple patients get checked in when they arrived, I decided enough was enough. I decided to leave the office after waiting from 10:45 to 12:00 noon, still not checked in. If I need additional help or follow up I will find another provider. Its not that I don't understand staffing issues I do. Its the fact certain patients were being made to sit down and wait for the possibly of being checked in while other patient were used right in. Enough us enough!
I went there for iron infusion and Sara took care of me so well. Love the customer service
Awesome experience
I love Dr. Ninan and have absolutely zero issues with her/her care. With that being said, the office staff is just awful at this location. Calling for any reason, you often sit for long periods on hold and then you’re made to feel like an inconvenience. Forget leaving a message for your doctors nurse (or maybe just mine) because three weeks of messages didn’t result in a single call back until I spoke with the office manager. They are reasonably pleasant while in office, unless you happen to ask the front desk gentleman a question he finds annoying. Such a shame to find a knowledgable, thorough doctor but still need to look elsewhere due to an issue like this.
I have been a patient of Dr. Subbannan for about 2.5 years. She and the staff have been friendly, courteous and attentive. I love my doctor, the phlebotomist and front office staff. Thank you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
