Dr. Jay staff at both locations (dekalb and st. John) are very nice, friendly and caring. Dr. Jay is the best oncologist..she will explain the process to you. She is ALWAYS available to her patients and she does return calls. She is very knowledgeable about cancer. The wait time for her is well worth it. She is a jewel and I thank God for her.
Dr. J is everything I want/need from a physician. She brought my beautiful daughter-in-law thru breast cancer twice. I'm now seeing her for anemia. Yes waiting to see her can drain your patience. I can wait to get the best care & she is the best. Dr. J is like family to us.
Dr. Srinivashiah is one of the greatest doctors I have every had the opportunity of dealing with. She is very aggressive but she get the job done. Thank God for her
Best doctor ever! Dr, Jay went above and beyond the call of duty to treat my husband. She is a "called" doctor; this is her purpose in life. She really cares about her patients and everyone she comes into contact with.
Dr. Jay is an outstanding doctor and has done everything possible to treat and manage my condition. She is warm and cares deeply for her patients and I have personally come to love her and feel like she cares as if I were family. I have developed great rapport with her staff and know that they genuinely care about me and my well being and offer hugs and words of encouragement and support when needed. I am blessed and thankful that Dr. Jay is my doctor. I thank God for guiding me to her.
Love Dr J and the entire staff. It is awesome that Dr J and her nurse give out their cell numbers to patients. Would not change doctors for the life of me.
Lacks empathy considering her line of work
She is an excellant treating patients with right direction and makes sound decisions
I found the staff ineffective. Checking in to see the doctor took well over 30min. I was informed that they were not automated; that is the reason for the delay. Dr Jay is awesome Dr but her team does not need to overbook. It's very important that the Dr and her team respects their patient's time
This was my 1st time seeing Dr.Jay. after having a double mastectomy for breast cancer. I very dissappointed that I had to wait for more than 2 hours to see her. I drive 45 minute one way, and then back. I do have a job that I have to get back to. I know it seems petty, but why do we have to schedule and appt if she cannot be on time? I understand every doctor falls behind, a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, but 2 hours! Also, I feel that she has way to much of a work overload. Everytime I get taken back to see her, she is on the phone and does not know what patient is next. If she would organize her time and make calls after her patients are done for the day this might help. I was suppose to get some results from her nurse 2 weeks ago and still not have heard a word. My prescription was not called in either. I am frusterated and will not be going back.
Dr. Jay is very knowledgable and caring. Did not see Dr. until more than 2 hours after appointment time.
Dr. Jay is very knowledgeable, however with the patient load she carries, it seems she more interested in quantity than quality. Patient care suffers - rx are prescribed in error - the nurses become 'doctors' and decide what she means if the rx is written with full instructions. Many of the staff (not clerical but medical) are very rude. Patients are not 'allowed' to receive their own medical records.
Dr. "Jay" is the most outstanding doctor in her field today. Her knowledge, determination and tenacity is beyond compare. The bedside manner of Dr. Jay is the most comfortable and her listening, understanding with the family and patient is comforting.
