Piedmont Imaging At Kennesaw's Online Review Report Card

I went to Piedmont Imaging in February of 2021 for an ultrasound. I was given the cost of services by the male receptionist and was told I could pay half at the time of visit. I paid half of the bill right then and expected to receive a bill for the balance by mail.Not only did I receive my remaining bill, I received a SECOND bill from Radiology Assoc of Atlanta for services rendered the same day from Piedmont Imaging of Kennesaw. At no point during the visit was I told that I would receive a 2nd bill from ANOTHER company.That is NOT how customers/patients should be treated.

Very rude call center. Save yourself time and go elsewhere. Due to covid we all need a little kindness.

A doctor at Piedmont had ordered an MRI for my teenage daughter. We scheduled it with a Piedmont imaging Center closer to our house. My wife call to verify everything the day prior and we were told our portion of the bill was $1700. My wife was confused as we had already met our annual deductible. She asked if they were considered out of network. They told her no and that they handle deductibles differently at Piedmont. If she overpaid she would be reimbursed later. Still not convinced my wife called United healthcare. Turns out the Piedmont imaging Center would be considered out of network so it would be a new deductible. The reason why they were able to claim they were in network is my wife didn’t ask the right question. Apparently you have to ask “are you contracted with United healthcare?" United healthcare give us the name of other imaging centers that were contracted with United. They said if we called Piedmont they would send the order to the new imaging center. When we called Piedmont we were told “we don’t do that“ so now we have to call the doctor to get a new MRI order. Very unprofessional and very deceptive. I will be avoiding Piedmont imaging as much as possible from now on.

The people that work here are rude and unfriendly.  I would drive further to find a location where you don't leave the office angry.  Go here if you must but don't expect to be treated kindly.

Went to my imaging appointment on time, kennesaw busbee drive location. It took the check in 10 min to check me in. No big deal. Except the imaging technician left before I got checked in. This is the second time Ive had this kind of experience with this imaging center. I am a Piedmont employee so I know there is absolutely no excuse for poor service here. As a Piedmont employee, i hate to say this, but I will go to Wellstar Imaging instead from now on.

I had a scheduled appointment made by my doctors staff. The morning of the appointment I was called to be told they needed to be rescheduled then they said no, you can come in that was a mistake then I was told you actually didn’t need an appointment you can just walk in. When I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early as asked, I was signed in, then called back by the radiologist only to be told that the “Ortho Dr” across the hall sent them patients on an as need basis and they were priority and at the time they had 2 ahead of me and since my appointment was a “lengthy one” they were going to have to do these patients first so the Ortho Dr didn’t get upset. So if I didn’t mind having a seat in the reception area they would probably get to me in about 30-45 min. Had it not been for the fact my doctor wanted these X-rays when I was to see him 2days from that appointment I would have left. I will Never come back even though they are only 1 mile from my home.

My appointment was seamless. I was greeted by a very nice young lady, Erica. Erica was very pleasant and sweet. Ms. Valerie performed my mammogram. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and gentle. She kept me informed every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Piedmont Imaging at Kennesaw. Thank you ladies!

Love the technician She remembers me from year to year. Short wait time.

Tech was friendly, however, she told me that the equipment used there was older than the ones in the hospital. Yikes! I won't go there again...I totally want the most updated equipment used if I'm paying for it and need competent results!!! This is Not like Piedmont!! :-(

Great experience! Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Last Friday I had my second MRI at this facility & everything went very smoothly. I was seen quickly within about 3 minutes of my appointment time. The MRI tech was very nice & knowledgeable. They burned my MRI to a disc for me to take, no problem & sent the results to my doctor by the time I called on Tuesday. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience.
