DR. BOECKER AND ASHLEY ARE FANTASTIC. I can't say the same for the front office staff. They are often rude and dismissive and treat patients like children. I preferred when Dr. Boecker was at his own private office.

Big zero for me, but it won’t let me choose it…Piedmont Physicians has declined so much!.The doctor I used for four years was great, he retired when Covid hit. During Covid I saw another doctor via video, he was less than interested in my care, but he did refill my prescriptions. I take blood pressure medicine. After my doctor left (Dr. Godfrey), the best ever, I asked for recommendations and was referred to Dr. Varner. I arrived for my appointment and was met by Ming W, worst nurse ever!!!. She was short and abrasive. Led me around by command then, told me to lay down for an EKG, when I questioned why? she snapped “ you don’t want it.” I asked why I needed the EKG, what was going on. She informed me that all new patients , get an EKG. (With insurance I’m sure). Funny I’ve never had one there.After I spoke with Dr. Varner who was just adequate , there were a few questions I asked that she just referred me to a specialist for . I had had some medical issues this year before I got there and I forgot to discuss one of them with the doctor. I asked the nurse if the doctor could come and discuss it and she again was just nasty, told me to send the doctor a message.I decided to just leave and not finish the appointment and didn’t do bloodwork. I have not done bloodwork there in four years. I went to pick up my prescriptions which they called in and was told that they had called back and cancel my prescriptions for my blood pressure, really?I messaged dr Varner several times and explained to them that I had a bad experience and I was going to go to a different primary and finish the appointment . Please give me enough blood pressure medicine to make it to the new doctor. The response was that they would give me the blood pressure prescription when I come in for the bloodwork. They literally held blood work hostage over me to get my blood pressure medicine , WHAT DR DOES THAT ? Obviously, didn’t care if I lived or died.Experience was so bad I risked going without the blood pressure medicine until I could get to a new doctor, who I felt would treat me better than they did. I refused to go back there.I was shocked at that at the callousness. Do yourself a favor do not trust your health and life to Piedmont physicians.You will regret it!!

Find someone new ASAP. First off front office staff is incompetent, the lady at the desk ran my insurance wrong and demanded my daughter was inactive and canceled my daughter's appt, I showed her on my phone my daughter active status and I called out insurance and asked the lady to run it again, the lady at the desk had the nerve to say "well you must have just added her". Me and my daughter had 2 separate apps for physicals, Dr Varner saw us a total of 5 minutes each and never even asked if we had questions or wanted to discuss anything. Once we left and you get you follow up paper work I started looking through it and nothing that my paper work was mixed in and stapled to another patients paper work with all of the other patients personal medical info while the other patient had mine. The patient I had was being referred for skin cancer and when I saw that referral thinking it was mine I panicked. This is a horrible practice.

Longtime patient of this facility. I usually see David Slotin and his assistant Letta. They're very caring and compassionate pair.Unfortunately, I had to visit an urgent care for severe ear pain the Sunday prior to Labor Day. I was told I had an abscess. Was given oral antibiotics and told to make appt with PCP as soon as possible.Called for appt but Slotin wasn't available until Thursday. I decided to make appt with Varner for Wednesday. Pain was not getting better and I went to wellstar Douglassville ER Tuesday and was given otic antibiotics and told again to visit my PCP or ENT.I arrived at Piedmont Physicians at Kennesaw. I NEVER in the 8 years of my visit encountered a rude and condescending person at this office until I encountered Dr. Varner's assistant.Dr. Varner came in the exam room and asked what she could do for me. I told her my problem. She said she told her assistant to give me a call the day prior to my appointment to tell me to go to an ENT but her assistant didn't call me. Dr. Varner said that she wasn't equipped to take care of my problems and would give me a list of ENTs to call. I was in so much pain and broke out it tears. Varner then decided to call herself to find an ENT that could see me the same day.Please make a change with her assistant before you lose more patients, as mentioned in previous reviews of other patients. She has no compassion, rude and incompetent.

Very disappointed! I've been going to Piedmont Physicians for a Physical more than 7 years and this year I was over charged for services I didn't get nor did I authorize them. If I would have known I was going to be charged for no reason, I wouldn't have never made an appointment with them. My family of 4 is now in the market for a new physicians group.

The nurse that works with Dr Varner is the absolute worst. I’ve been a patient with Piedmont for many years and been happy until now. She is demeaning and unprofessional. I’m considering changing practices unless the leadership with Piedmont addresses this issue.

I’ve had an imaging appointment with this practice for almost two weeks. They just called me the day before because they can’t do the imaging I need. I called Dr Varner’s nurse asking for help getting the imaging rescheduled as soon as possible since I will be out of town on business. She laughed and told me to cancel my trip. Terrible bedside manner and unprofessional.

I had a physical appointment today and the office cancelled me last minute. This is the second time and with no notice. I have already waited 3 months for this appointment and now I have to wait longer. Very frustrating. May need to seek medical care somewhere else.

I will be finding a new general practice. I have been canceled on multiple times... have left multiple messages with no response... and was turned away for a physical due to having COVID 30 days prior to my appointment. They informed me I should quarantine for 14 days then 30 days after my quarantine is when I could be seen. So they can’t see patients for 45 days after exposure?!? What a joke!
