List of Georgia Pulmonary Group's Reviews
I was told that advair was in a different class than symbicort and that I needed to change to symbicort because of pregnancy. I was then told to change the nasal spray im taking and was prescribed a steroid for a slight exasperation of my asthma. Come to find out symbicort and advair are in the same class and all the meds I was on are safe for pregnancy. When I questioned Dr. Siore about this, he told me if I wanted to harm my baby then don't listen to him. I had the pharmacist call me and tell me she didn't want to fill what he wrote because it wasn't a good combination of meds, especially for pregnancy. I went and got a second opinion and was told the same thing.
I am a patient of Dr. Obi. I can never get in touch with the Lawrenceville office where I see her. I was told once that they were short on employees, but this always happens. I had to cancel my appointment and had called several times and left messages. Nobody got back with me, so I called the Snellville office today and "Leidy" or "Lady" answered and she was extremely rude.First she told me I had to call Lawrenceville. Once I told her they don't answer she said well, who am I talking to anyway? And she went on to cancelling appointment very fast without asking anything else.Zero customer service. I like Dr. Obi, but you must get better office help. Someone who actually cares and loves her job. I wish the Dr.s would read these, care about their patients, their practice, and keeping customers. They need to get rid of incompetent, mediocre office employees who poorly represent the business.
Dr's office... Sufficient, but who rates a Dr's office with five stars....
I just want to give a s/o to Georgia Pulmonary Group! Thank you Kathy for your professional yet personable personality. I’ve had several encounters with you on the phone and in person today and each time your customer service was top notch. Destiny thank you for the awesome back office service! Dr. Obe you rock! Your professionalism, patience, and your friendly personality made me feel like I could trust you and feel confident my son was in great hands! I highly recommend this group for your pulmonary needs!
This office is the sweetest I’ve ever been to. Dr. Asiore is very knowledge about lung, breathing and sleep conditions. I had a sleep study performed here and everything went so smoothly. The two front office ladies (Kathy and I believe another Nurse) are very nice and make you feel welcome. I would Definitley reccomend!
I visited to this office for sleep problems and the doctor was very helpful. He listened to me patiently when I explain to him how I feel. He also advised me what to do for my problem. The lady at the front desk and all others were very nice and supportive. I recommend any to visit this location for better service.
In and out if you're seeing the NP instead of the doctor but just as thorough. Great help is your parking is validated.
Dr. Rupesh Dave's nurse,Sabina, was very rude and unprofessional. After calling at the request of another provider to obtain a medical release letter from the doctor, she told me, "he has a life and does not speak directly to DME providers". Dr. Dave was the ordering physician for the equipment that we were trying to have picked up! After a very unprofessional exchange with the nurse, I tried to call and report this behavior to the practice manager, Terri. She obviously called the nurse to get her account of what happened and repeatedly talked over me and would not let me explain what I needed. I merely called the manager to report the behavior of the nurse but she kept trying to talk over me and refused to listen. Although there is no law against being rude, it would be ethical for medical practice personnel to practice patience and courtesy when dealing with patients. Needless to say, we will not being going to this practice again. It is a shame because the physician himself was not the problem. However, I tried to reach him to report the office manager and they told me that "Terri is the top person to talk to and that the doctor would be unavailable until next week." They did say they wrote down my complaint and would give it to the doctor. I doubt that I'll get a response at all or if I do, it will be more of the same.
The Ga. Pulmonary Group the Snellville office; Staff and Dr. Amsel Siore are incompetent. Don't waste your time or you health to these fools. 4 months wasted time. The last time I went in for an appointment ""They scheduled"" they asked me why I was there... Staff blocks patients request to have Dr. call you. Then when I asked the Dr. personally about it; and I quote, he said ""Did you come in today to argue with me"" Final straw. Fired them on the spot. Then when I moved on to another Dr. they played games with the new Drs. office for weeks to forward ""MY RECORDS and TEST""" After several calls from myself and the new Dr. They said ""Oh yea, we are faxing them now"" what a joke this Drs office is... No professional concern at all for the fact that (((""I AM AT A PULMANARY SPECAILIST"""))) (((("""BECAUSE I CAN'T BREATH"""))) This should be a crime what these creations have done and I am filing a complaint with ""Medicare Waste & Abuse"" to have the matter investigated. My own general Dr. said they had many complaints about Ga. Pulmonary Group and the rudeness of the staff. But, amazingly my new Pulmonary Dr knew exactly who I was talking about """BEFORE I EVEN MENTIONED THEIR NAME"""

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
