Wonderful Dr. Very thorough and explains everything so you understand. Very knowledgable of Lupus. Has been a God send to me
Tried to make appointment and was informed after they had all my personal information that to be see, I have to be vaccinated or have a negative test 1 week prior to being seen. Cancelled my appointment and will not be scheduling one again. This is ridiculous.
Very kind. Explains my condition very well. Very good at diagnoses. Some of staff do not follow through on prescription refills and communicating lab results.
This is absolutely the most unprofessional medical practice that I have ever gone to. You can’t get in touch with anyone, no one returns calls no matter how important they are. I have been waiting several days to get clarification on a prescription that the pharmacist is not sure of.
Not worthy of even one star. M y husband went to Dr. Paris a few times. Completely and utterly dissatisfied with the office and staff. As a health professional (Registered Nurse) I find it completely unacceptable that this office never answers the phone nor can you ever get a hold of an actual person. My husband has attempted to call numerous times to get his medical records transferred to a New Endocrinologist at Emory and the staff at Dr. Parris’ Will Not send over his records to the new doctor. My husband can not get the appointment and care That he needs because this offices lack of competence and communication. I have even gone to the office “in person” To drop off the medical records release form, but of course to no avail, the office did not fax over his records to Emory. I can not believe this doctor and his staff are even considered professionals. Do not waste your time with this practice, you will only end up frustrated and angry. I called again today and of course “The office is closed” on Fridays. I feel very sad for patients that see this doctor. Completely unacceptable. In my nursing career this would never be tolerated. I called the office on Monday, September 14th to schedule a follow-up appointment. Well as of today no one has called me back. I guess some things never change with their office staff.
I have been to two other rheumatologists to treat my rheumatoid arthritis. But when I got to Dr Paris and his staff he addressed that I also had psoriatic arthritis and he started treating me with an infusion that have made my labs so much better and have made me feel so much better. I would recommend Dr Paris to anyone in the world. He truly listens to his patients along with Miss Young his phycians assistant she truly listens to patients and and they take action. I also love his infusion nurse Donna. She has made this transition from taking oral medication or injections every two weeks, amazing and I love seeing her smiling face and upbeat attitude every time I go in. Again...... She's pretty awesome!
I would never return to Parris Rheumatology. I had my only visit due to a swollen knee. I saw a NP. She drained the fluid off my knee and gave me a steroid injection. They did an xray and ultrasound of my knee and lab work. They never did tell me what had caused the swelling. I signed up for their portal and they would never post my labs nor respond to my portal questions. Eventually, I called their office and asked to pick up copy of my labs. When I did, I saw that I had urinary problem which they had not reported to me. The worse thing was that I found out 3 weeks later when I went to another doctor that the cause of the swollen knee was a tibia fracture and I was stunned. I had walked on this fractured leg for almost a month after the xray and ultrasound, making the fracture much worse. Then, they billed my insurance $819.00.
My experience was as good as it gets! Dr Parris listened to all questions & concerns. I have NEVER had a physician spend much time with me. He was extremely thorough. His personality is the best! Looking forward to our follow up.
I've been going to this office for maybe 2 or 3 years now. My first encounter some 8 years ago was when I came with a family friend who was seeing Dr. Parris. Dr. Parris was incredible, but the office isn't like it was 8 years ago when I went with her. Even 6 years ago I went to be evaluated for SSD. I don't know who the doctor was that I saw, but I loved her and she was incredibly kind and caring. She was only supposed to be evaluating me, but throughout the hour long appointment she gave me advice on things I could do to help my pain levels, swelling, and joint displacement (without insurance). I now see Dr. Samakur with Medicaid and I hate this office. I absolutely hate going in. The only people I like are Dr. Samakur and the woman who draws my blood! The office has gone downhill and staff does not care about you or helping you. I've been without my meds for almost 4 months and they don't care. They never give me my test results. Every time I call they're rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
