Summit Spine & Joint Centers's Online Review Report Card

I had a nerve block appointment on 12/30 and was seen by Dr. Weinstein. He was sprung on me a few weeks before when my doctor was unavailable, and showed absolutely no concern for my issues or chronic pains, and refused to cosign the treatment plan that my regular doctor already had in mind. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Weinstein and that I was ready to start the medication’s that were previously recommended to me and he opted to go down the “have you tried losing weight?” Rabbit hole. He then recommended an unsuccessful procedure that I already had in the past. When I arrived for my appointment, to my surprise, Dr. Weinstein was there to perform it. I was completely unaware of this, as I assumed it would be my normal doctor, who I’ve seen for 2 years and am comfortable with, Dr. Colón. To put it plainly, Dr. Weinstein was arrogant as hell and showed no bedside manner. I’ve had procedures at Summit Spine for two years now, and I have never been treated so terribly by any of the doctors until now. In previous procedures, Dr. Colón and Dr. Patel were always kind and compassionate. And since I’m always awake for my procedures, they’d walk me through every step of it letting me know what they’re doing before they did it. But that seemed to be too much of a hassle for Dr. Weinstein. He started by saying he was just marking with a pen the areas that he was going to work on and immediately shoved in a needle. I became anxious and let Dr. Weinstein know that in all my previous procedures the doctors always told me what they were doing as they did it and that I needed him to do the same. But apparently he could not be bothered with the extra work. I was poked and prodded like a lab rat with no clue as to what was going on and hyperventilating in the process. After he finished, no words were exchanged. He just ran out the room to finish eating his lunch. I’ve never been treated with such a lack of care. I left that facility in tears and feeling violated. I will never allow this man to work on me again. And If I never saw him again, it would be too soon.

Had an MRI at Summit Spine Center, Lawrenceville, conducted by Rebecca. I had to reschedule last week because Rebecca noticed I had cat eye nail polish, which has metal specks in it - a real no-no for an MRI (think of foil in the microwave). Then today, she noticed my compression stockings which she explained would heat up under the MRI. So she saved my bacon twice. Love her professionalism and attention to detail! The front desk staff are great too.

The staff is always courteous and the office is tidy. I’ve been a patient of this office for a few years, and I’ve been completely satisfied.

Great medical staff. They take time to listen and really care about their patients. Office staff Always professional and helpful. Atmosphere helps a patient feed at ease and valued.
