Finding a doctor who truly listens and cares can make all the difference, and Dr. Barnes is a shining example of that. She is one of the most thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate physicians I have ever met. From the moment you step into her office, she takes the time to explain everything in detail and listens to your concerns with genuine care. We ended up deciding that I needed a hysterectomy and I feel so lucky and grateful that she was recommended to me. We need more healthcare professionals like her.

I LOVE Dr. Barnes! She listened to me and made me feel validated in my complaints. She was thorough in making sure she had a clear picture of what my issues were, ordering imaging and bloodwork. She explained what she saw in imaging giving me the best understanding of what was going on with my body. II felt like a person to her, not just another patient. She made me feel like I was her most important concern before surgery and after. I had an elevated BP and HR in one of my post-op visits. I told her it was just anxiety, and she told me she wanted to make sure there wasn't something else going on that she couldn't see so she ordered some bloodwork. She said she didn't want to chalk it up to "just anxiety." She advocated on my behalf when the insurance company denied the pre-approval for surgery. Her staff is amazing! They were kind and courteous every time I came in. The lab tech she has in the office is THE BEST!! I hate needles--like REALLY hate needles. I never ONCE felt the needle going into my arm the times I had to get blood drawn! She is a gem! I can't rave enough about how AMAZING Dr. Barnes and her staff are!

I’ve had a very long, traumatic journey following my c-section which lead to many complications including a life threatening infection, severe pelvic adhesions, intrauterine adhesions, and hydrosalpinx in both fallopian tubes. It has been heartbreaking to navigate infertility, as I was met with many doctors who were dismissive, careless, and left me in this damaged state with no regard. Dr. Barnes has been the silver lining in all of this, from day 1 she was a breath of fresh air. She never made me feel rushed, she was extremely thorough, and answered all of my many questions with compassion and patience to make me feel comfortable with our plan moving forward. She instilled hope, and optimism with her confidence and expertise in my conditions. The day of surgery, I was extremely nervous given all of my prior surgical complications, but Dr. Barnes as well as every single nurse (both pre and post op) were wonderful at putting me at ease. They respected all of my wishes, were so attentive to every symptom, efficient, and more than anything, they made me feel cared for. I am so grateful for Dr. Barnes and her team. I have been working in healthcare for 10 years and was truly impressed to witness such compassionate patient-centered focus with clear regard for safety.

Dr. Barnes is incredibly skilled in her profession & I’m so thankful for the referral to her for my Myomectomy for fibroids. She is thorough, precise, knowledgeable, & down to earth. She recently performed my surgery with precision & care. She’s very detail oriented, respects your wishes, & answers any questions you may have with confidence. I’m 2 weeks post op and I’m healing incredibly well & I look forward to my quality of life improving after this surgery 🙏🏽 Dr. Barnes is a doctor I can trust & I would highly recommend her🫶🏾

Dr. Barnes is the most caring doctor I have ever come across. I went to her for surgery I was terrified to get done and she was the most kind, patient, and detail oriented doctor. She goes above and beyond to spend as much time with her patients and ensures that you feel as stress free walking into your treatment as possible. I felt so at ease going into the operating room knowing that her and her team were going to take the best care of me. Above it all, she is kind, remembers the small details you discuss in appointments and is genuine. Cannot say enough positive things about my experience with her.

Dr. Barnes is GREAT! She is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. She listened to all my concerns and addressed any questions I had. She was the only doctor over several years that truly found out my issue. My surgery went smoothly, and my recovery has been better than I expected. Shout out to her amazing staff as well. I am very impressed with Dr Barnes and her team. She is so detailed & thorough in explaining my treatment for Uterine scar and Laparoscopy & also being proactive so as to avoid reoccurrence. She actually restored my hope towards my journey of trying to conceive. Thank you Dr Barnes.

Dr. Barnes is truly an angel and by far the best doctor I have ever been to regarding my pain. Over the past 7 years I have seen multiple doctors due to painful symptoms in hopes of getting a proper endometriosis diagnosis. Dr. Barnes was the first to listen to all my concerns without dismissing them, and was very thorough in her exam. Despite my MRI showing no signs of endo, she knew there was more going on than what could be seen. I had my endometriosis excision surgery and fibroid removal on Tuesday and her bed side manner was fantastic. She put me at ease every step of the way and I'm so grateful for everything she has done. I now know that I had been suffering from stage 4 endometriosis, all of which she was able to remove. I cannot recommend Dr. Barnes enough. She gave me my life back.
