Called about 10x in the last few days. Same voicemail then it hangs up. Ridiculous

Im a bit late writing a review for this group.  I last saw them about 2 years ago and maybe things have changed who knows.  My cardiologist Dr.  Ahmed was fantastic.  He took the time to talk to me get my perspective and explain things to me.  However the support staff and other cardiologists were polar opposites to Dr.  Ahmed.  I constantly had frustrating discussions about copays scheduling and prescriptions refills.  The final straw came when I had a heart cath done.  To my dismay Dr. Ahmed did not do surgical procedures so someone else from AHS did it.  What was suppose to be a simple procedure through the wrist and in and out the same day turned into a nightmare.  The doctor nicked an artery which caused me a lot of pain and distress they had to really amp up the meds as a result.  My arm swelled up like a balloon and turned purple.  I had to stay in ICU for a day and in the cardiac unit for another day.  This increased my part of the bill by about $1000 of which AHS refused to pay a cent.  Additionally since they werent able to complete the heart cath I had to reschedule for a second one which also increased my cost.  Needless to say I left them in a heartbeat pun intended.

I won’t recommend any of patients to even go there. Office staff is the worse. I never see in 50 years of life that unprofessional people. Common you people we are heart patients have some respect of your profession or do some other jobs. This profession is not for you. I can’t even think a profession which you should do. Health department should read reviews and take action against these kind of unprofessional people. I request to all patients who have been had bad experiences in any place should report it so it won’t happen again.

All of the Staff are Excellent Patient and Caring

Awful communication. Dr. Dorsey was great. But its been a month and the office has not let me know my event monitor results despite my asking repeatedly. They told me it was my job to track down the medical assistant at another location and acted huffy when I said my shortness of breath makes it difficult to talk on the phone and I did not have the energy to do so. They also did not create a patient portal login for me and I have no way of contacting anyone other than via phonewhich is rarely answered. Ill be going to another cardiologist who can request my medical records.

Very caring practice. All of the doctors nurses office support staff are top notch here. I highly recommend this location.

I rate Atlanta Heart Specialists with a 5 because of the doctors and staff.  Ive been a patient of Dr. Allen and find her to be very professional knowledgeable and caring an obvious expert in her field.  She takes her time and answers all of your questions no matter how insignificant they may be.  She doesnt mind taking the time to make sure you are truly comfortable with her course of action.  Dr. Dorsey in the same office is also excellent.  The main attribute of the Doctors and staff is that They Care  They take your time in consideration and treat each patient as the most important person everybody matters.  The staff are friendly professional and personable real joys to work with.

Great place Everyone is really nice and very professional They performed a Nuclear Stress Test on me and it was very easy. Dr. Bhuiyan and her staff are great Highly recommend this place
