Recently had the pleasure to be in contact with Dr. Shin and he’s a phenomenal doctor. He extracted all four of my wisdom teeth, and going into the operation I was extremely anxious, considering it was my first major operation of any kind. But Dr. Shin and his assistants were able to reassure me and guide me every step of the way to being comfortable. He was very conscientious during the procedure to any pain or discomfort I experienced throughout the surgery. And he works relatively fast, so I was in and out in jiffy. As far my recovery goes, it’s been a week post-op and I’m just as good as new with no swelling or bruising. I highly recommend Dr. Shin!

Dr. Shin is an amazing oral surgeon. I was nervous about extracting 2 teeth to start an implant procedure. He calmed my my nerves by explaining every step of the way during the procedure. He made a professional decision that was in my best interest.

I highly recommend Dr. Shin. Dr Shin extracted 4 wisdom teeth of my teenage son and he did an incredible job. He was on time for the appointment, explained through the entire process as well as after care instructions. Not only that, after the surgery, he was constantly in touch with us, making sure my son was recovering well and answered any questions we may have had after the surgery. You can tell, he really cares for his patients.

Best doctor and totally recommend Dr. Shin. Dr. Shin did my wisdom teeth extraction (all 4) in November, 2020. He was very patient and thorough. He explained everything very clearly before the surgery and the surgery was a breeze. My recovery was very difficult, which Dr. Shin warned me about before hand considering my age and how deep were my wisdom teeth. I had a very tough two weeks post surgery, and I made a couple of panic calls to Dr. Shin's personal phone after office hours and he very patiently answered my questions and assured me that I will be fine. He also offered to see me in the office on the next business day if I am still worried. I had been to another doctor before who scared me that there is a good chance that my trigeminal nerve could be damaged during surgery. Dr. Shin assured me that he will try his best not to let that happen and I didn't have any problems post surgery.Thank you Dr. Shin!

I was told by a number of doctors, including Dr.Shin, that my tooth extraction was low risk for nerve damage. I believe that Dr.Shin botched the surgery. I got permanent nerve damage. I went to a different surgeon for the same tooth on the other side, no nerve damage. I would not recommend this surgeon at all. If you don't want general anaesthesia, I would recommend Dr.Boloux at Emory. If you want general anaesthesia, I would recommend Dr. Glenn Maron. Don't ever go to Dr.Shin!!!

Dr. Shin was very professional throughout the entire appointment of my four wisdom teeth extractions. I came in very nervous and scared and wanted to run out the door but my mind changed. He was very comforting throughout the procedure. He gave me after care instructions and wanted to give his phone number to me in case I need any explanation. That just shows he has great concerns for me! Let's just say I recovered after my third day. That's how good he was. Just follow his instructions and take your antibiotics as needed. :) I totally recommend him!

Great oral surgeon, he extracted my wisdom tooth so fast and knew the right music to play while being under laughing gas. I healed in about a week!

I went in to get the remaining wisdom teeth I have removed as it came unexpectedly. Dr. Shin was professional and very attentive. He explained what he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. I went with local anesthesia. He was vocal in letting me when I’d feel pressure and checked in on me when I was wincing to make sure I wasn’t in any pain. The procedure went by quickly as I only had two that were removed.

Dr. Shin is a great oral surgeon! My daughter needed her wisdom teeth extracted and Dr. Shin explained the process thoroughly answering my many questions and addressing my concerns. The procedure went seamlessly. I look for Doctors that are genuine and sincere, understanding and of course great in their respective fields and my family and I are thankful we found Dr. Shin. I would Definitely recommend!

Does an amazing job of keeping up with patients directly! You can reach him through his cellphone so he’ll always respond during most of the day including night. He was able to help me with my post surgical nausea the day of and did not have to go back in. Highly recommend for wisdom teeth removal, I was in and out before I even knew it.
