Dr Mathew is compassionate and caring. If you suffer from chronic pain it would be difficult to find better treatment.
Excellent experience today with Dr Jose Mathew, he listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and provided options for managing my chronic knee pain until I’m ready for total knee replacement surgery. Highly recommended based on my experience!!
I scheduled an appointment with them. they told me at the time of scheduling that they couldn't prescribe pain meds because of the medication I'm already on. i told them I didn't want pain meds I needed an MRI to find out how bad the damage to my spine was and figure out where to go from there. After the intake nurse spoke with me another nurse came in and asked me if I was there for injections or pain meds because they couldn't see me for pain because of my current meds. I told her neither that I just want an MRI and then go from there. Dr. Hamilton came in asked me about what was going on with my back. As I was going over my injuries and symptoms he asked again about injections to which I told him that I don't want to do injections as I've had them before in another location of my back and it offered no pain relief, only to leave huge knots in my back that took weeks to recover from ,I let him know I didn't appreciate his nurse asking me about pain meds when I've already made it crystal clear to the nurse that that's not why I'm here.when making the appointment. I just want the MRI, find out what the damage is, then figure out what the options are and if im eligible for stem cells to which he replied that he wasn't going to order tests for the sake of ordering tests. Then said he couldn't help me. to which I replied I can give you the doctor's names and you can verify I've had 2 mri's and epidurals on my lower back and its not ordering them for the sake of ordering them but to figure out what other damge has occurred since my last mri over 14 years ago . It seems like this isn't a legitimate spine doctor just a place to get injections and get people hooked on pain meds.
Dr : Venu Madhipatla was very professional and courteous. He is very thorough and listens to his patients! I highly recommend him.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS HELLHOLE!!!! Trash service, inconsiderate staff, desensitized towards people's pain. Absolute garbage estashment!!!!
I visited the Conyers location of Summit Spine And Joint centers. This was the absolute worst treatment that a human being should have to endure. I drove 45 minutes on the knee that needs a knee replacement with numerous injuries to my spine. The front desk staff was disgusting. They were laughing and treating all of the patients in the waiting room horribly. When I presented at the desk they told me that my insurance was invalid. I knew that it was not and I called my insurance provider and they said that I was still active then I called the main office for Summit and spoke with the supervisor and she said yes, you are active A really bad attitude they were nothing knowledgeable, I’m gonna do my very best to report this location to the board. I wish I had read the reviews prior to going here, but I just trusted my orthopedic surgeon. I’m starting to rethink using this particular doctor to do my surgery if he sent me here I’m in excruciating pain. They did nothing to help me at all. They didn’t wanna bother looking at my insurance properly, I have blue cross the top coverage in the country and their office tried to turn me away and say I didn’t have coverage. I wonder if their doctors know how horrible the front staff is. This also was not a handicap friendly office. There was barely any seating there weren’t ramps available and several patients in walkers and all sorts of handicap situations were standing up. This was one of the most degrading. Situations I’ve been in since my car accident I wouldn’t recommend a piece of lint to go to Summit Pain And joint
Staff are friendly. Clinical staff Jada was nice listen to my concerns. PA Siddi explained in details of procedure. Overall good follow up visit. Would recommend Summit Spine and Joint Centers.
Awesome people, including Drs, nurses, and front staff. So far, my husband and I never had a problem.
The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Absolutely professional and great attitudes
I am pleased to leave this review, after seeing so many doctors and 7 surgeries I found Summit spine and joint centers they made a noticeable difference in my life. They listened and each time I returned the doctor (Charli) had an adjustment for me together we found a suitable solution and it absolutely changed my life. Bravo to great, skilled doctors and a joyful profession staff as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
