Venture Medical (Estes') office has a policy of requiring you to do an office visit before they will renew ANY prescription, even routine ones. Not only does this waste time and money (co-pays and insurance charges) but they never actually perform any services to justify a prescription renewal. I am very busy and do not need to double pay (co-pay for a visit and co-pay for prescription). Worse they are scamming the insurance company with much more than the co-pay. Estes is not in office most times and you are left to see abrasive PAs.

He saved my life! I went to Dr. Estes at the insistence of my friend. This after I had been to a cardiologist, a different family medical Doctor and then a gastroenterologist to find out why I was having terrible episodes over the previous ten days or so. The cardiologist office dismissed the issue claiming not to be cardiovascular; the family doctor assumed the same; the gastro. determined not reflux Estes took me seriously; took blood tests; sent me to diff. cardio. I had had a heart attack.

I was pleased with Dr Estes and his PA, but his office staff was really slow in getting back to us about a referral and lab results. Pleasant employees, but oh so slow or forgetful, I don't know which.
