List of Piedmont Physicians Of Locust Grove's Reviews
Went to this location to get some information and sign up as a new patient. My experience was far from nice the young lady at the front was very rude and unwelcoming. The doctor might be a great doctor but her front office staff is horrible. I will not be making an appointment at all. Wish I could give zero stars.
Excellent service
On Monday November 4th between 8-9am I called the office numerous times each time an answering machine picked up. I left a message for the front office staff one time which the recording told me would return my call within 24 hours. Then I left a message for the nursing staff and that message informed me it maybe 72 hours before someone would return my call. Frustrated and because my 75 yr old mother needed to see her primary Doctor, Dr Hare urgently, I drove to the office. When I entered the office there were NO patients waiting nor did I witness any patients leaving the office. After standing at the reception desk for about 5 minutes the normal girl Candace who works the phones and front desk came out of the back. I explained that I had been calling and no one would pick up the phone. She told me that she had tried to call us but myself (the number I left to call back) nor my mother’s phone had any missed calls or messages left for us from Dr. Hare’s office. I explained that my 75 yr old mother had fallen Friday evening and had been taken to the ER and released after a CAT Scan. I explained that she had fallen backwards onto her head & back from about 9 feet. She was released after CAT Scan found no signs of grave trauma without any kind of pain meds or muscle relaxers. I explained the horrible cold chills she was having and explained that I felt like she needed to see her doctor as soon as possible. Candace acted like she understood, told me Dr Hare was out of the office at the time but she was typing her a message as I stood there. She made me an appointment for today, Thursday as it was the next appointment she had available. She also reassured me that she had sent the message to Dr Hare and that she (Candace) would call me that day to let me know what Dr Hare said, if she could get us in that day or for any cancellation the next day. To date Dr Hare nor her office staff has attempted to contact us via phone as promised!I am just applauded with this office and so very disappointed with Dr. Hare. My mother & I both go to Dr Hare and both really like her. When you’re in the office she is so personable and we both feel extremely comfortable with her. The location is also perfect for us. However, the lack of communication, being able to contact the office or your Dr and the response time is completely unacceptable!!!This is not the first time I’ve had this issue with this office. I have driven to the office 3 other times frustrated that I could not reach them by phone for multiple days with no return calls as promised by their answering machine. The third time I had to drive to the office I was beyond annoyed and let Candace the front office women know how and why I was so upset. I basically demanded a call from Dr Hare so I could tell her directly my concerns & complaint. Dr Hare did return my call eventually and I explained my frustration. Dr Hare then explained that she is a Piedmont Dr and her office is a Piedmont facility, she and her staff work for Piedmont. Piedmont’s policy and direction is that she does not have a front office staff. That Candace and all other staff have to multi task and that part of her job is to work with patients in the back as well, taking blood pressures, getting patient info in rooms, etc... Her first priority is patients in the office not on the phone. Dr Hare apologize and explained that this is not her policy but Piedmont’s policy.Update: I called Dr Hare’s office again this morning before starting this review and left a message stating how disappointed I was that no one had contacted either my mother or I since Monday and that we’ve been left with no other choice than finding a new Dr. Marie from her office just returned my call. I explained everything I’ve written in this review. Marie had Dr Hare listen to my message and Dr Hare’s response via Marie was “ I apologize you had that experience and that she was Okay with us both finding new doctors. She warned that if we used another doctors office like Eagles Landing (which I never mentioned)
Dr. Hare is extremely knowledgeable and her acumen is amazing. The staff is always nice and attentive, and the wait time is often manageable.
Dr. Hare is a good doctor and seems to actually care about her patients but the staff is terrible. I had bloodwork and an ultrasound done and was never contacted about the results. When I called they said Dr. Hare was out of the office for medical reasons and will be back Monday so I requested my ultrasound to be read by a different doctor. I got the results from the other doctor and was told to follow up with Dr. Hare for a follow up plan. When I called I was told to they would send a message and I'll be contacted within 24 hours. I never got a phone call. We are at 3 weeks after my initial appointment and I called and again and when my phone call was returned they said the doctor was out again and booked on appointments after her return. The lady I spoke to was pretty much asking me what else I needed since I was told the results of my ultrasound and that if it was critical they would have contacted me... this place is a joke. If you want to go and get test done and guess what your results mean this is the place for you! I will never be returning to this office.
Great doctor!!! Friendly staff... she is very compassionate
Love them. Alwaus a pleasent experience. Dr.hare has been my PcP since she was in Barnesville and I followed her to locust grove. Best PcP ever. Piedmont is lucky to have have her a long with all the new clientele.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
