The doctor & nurses could not even pretend to hide their disdain at my trivial pain. I spent more time in the mri than with the doctor yet she charged over $200 more than cost of mri for rude, unempathetic, & also incorrect diagnoses.
If I could give the emergency room a -0 today I would from my experience. First off my mother told Sat. that she could into. there and have her wound cleaned and changed. This so called I guess wanna be nurse tells her you should have went to her primary, keep in mind she was told Sat she could come there and have it cleaned . Secondly the only thing this person I refuse to say medical attendant, only put on it was ointment on it no cleaning or anything and just put a bandage on it. Then to add insult she gonna tell her no doctor is there by that name when I looked at the orders with the doctors name. Then more insult to injury she just pushed her outside the back emergency room doors and left her. When I clearly saw with my own eyes they pushed other patients out and waited for the car to pull up and get them. Now I was livid and furious this was the worst of the worst experience in that place.
Awesome thanks for everything Dr.Cox
Experience with my mother was a joke. This place should not even be called a hospital. I give them zero stars!!!
We've had so many bad experiences with this hospital! The last one is when my husband came to the there with signs of a stroke only to be told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him! He was given a blood pressure pill. We have no clue why since he has NEVER had blood pressure issues. He was told to just follow up with his regular doctor. Also, his discharge papers had complaints listed that my husband NEVER EVEN MENTIONED AND DOESN'T HAVE! I got NO WHERE when complaining about this! He superb a week at AU who admitted him IMMEDIATELY upon seeing him and brain ng about his symptoms! Thankfully it wasn't a stroke but still a very SERIOUS condition! To anyone who's had issues with this hospital, I've set up a fb page for your complaints. I am personally interested in your story. I'm amazed at how many I've heard! It's Jefferson Hospital Grievances (Louisville, GA).
Absolutely the worse er I ever been to. The only staff member mckayla there that was kind and helpful. It took a long time. I took my husband over there from dialysis cause he had fallen. I will never go back again for no reason.
I visited the hospital about 2 weeks ago with my auntie. The guy at the registration desk didn’t even ask her (my auntie) to sign in nor did he call her to the side to fill out any paper work. We sat in the waiting area for 1 1/2 hours and didn’t receive any service AT ALL! I politely asked the guy in registration to find a doctor and he “claim” he went in the back to get a doctor for my auntie. We never saw a doctor. And the sad case about this hospital is that with very few patients, the staffs, nurses, and doctors move very slowly when this is an EMERGENCY room where things should be fast paced because you’ll never know a person’s medical condition. All we know, a person could be dying in the waiting area and the staffs would take their precious time. Honestly, we need REAL DOCTORS, not a bunch of CNA and other school/ college nursing students running around the facility playing “doctor”. My advice, if you’re having a serious medical condition PLEASE go directly to Augusta because more likely that’s where they’re gonna refer you. The customer service is poor and the doctors and nurses have a very LITTLE knowledge of anything and are rude. SAD!!
I have been to the ER twice in the last couple of years with a family member. Dr. Arman was on duty both times. Each time there things were handled efficiently from the registration to the nurse on duty. We got the treatment needed and were very satisfied. I am very thankful to have a local hospital.
Dr. Cox is an excellent doctor who genuinely cares for her patients. I would highly recommend her for your kiddos! My daughter loves her and her nurse.
My dad and mom came to see her brother in law after driving 2 to 3 hours they were taking him back to convalescent home and wouldn't stop for one minute to let them say hey or nothing all they could do is wave and my dad asked could you just stop for a minute to let us talk to him. And the head nurse says we have a schedule. And the 2 nurse pushing his bed never even acknowledged them. Not professional at all and very rude. With no patients you don't have a job I think they could have spared a couple of minutes to just let someone who drove all that way to say we are here for you. After in the ambulance they just stood around talking for 10 minutes to a man....REALLY!!! They have time to stop and talk on their schedule but not for patrons or patients. Sad!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
