Jones is the best. She has been my mothers oncologist since 2002. She has been a light for my mother, and has tackled each spout of cancer she’s had effectively. She has even prayed with her! Jones should get more than 5 stars, as should the team at GA cancer specialists. They greet my mom by name, are friendly, and genuinely care. They have all provided a level of care that has exceeded my expectations.
We are fortunate to have Dr. Jones available to us in Middle Georgia. She could have chosen big city institutions for her practice.
Attentive capable and thorough
Dr. Jones is very sweet, as is Cathy. However, most of the folks that work there are cold and somewhat rude.
We have found Dr. Jones and her staff to be very caring and very informative and helpful. We would highly recommend her.
She saw my mother for the better part of a year, never performed any procedures to establish a diagnosis, & when my mother wound up so sick she could no longer stand up, it took another team of docs about 10 days to figure out that she had wide-spread metastatic cancer in several organ systems. By then it was too late to do anything and mother only lived a few days after the diagnosis that Cheryl jones never made.
She does listen to you but she sometimes acts like you are stupid
I saw this dr one time when she gave me the worst news of my life. Everything else was handled by other staff members. I was told she was the best in the area but I could not disagree more. She made the call to do chemo before surgery and then I called the office to tell them I had a possible Covid exposure but then had a NEGATIVE test. She had her staff tell me she wouldn’t see or treat me for 24 days. TWENTY FOUR. Also my port site was infected and they basically said good luck with that get help elsewhere. I never even heard from her personally. I would not recommend her to anyone! You are a faceless number to her and if it inconveniences their office at all you are on your own. Please go somewhere else!!! Emory Winshape is my next stop!!
Only draws blood as a follow up method to check for recurrent cancer but doesn’t know once blood work shows that being anemic, continued weight loss, and having prior lobular cancer are signs of stomach cancer. Never tried to find out why her patient was anemic just gave blood transfusion and ordered to take iron. Six months later, the primary doctor ordered a endoscopic test which reveals stomach cancer. Had I only added “prior lobular breast cancer” to my search along with anemic and weight loss, I would have known myself! She had no clue and after medical record were sent to her office, she has yet to call and check on me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Jones
Dr. Jones has zero compassion. She doesn’t care about people and is a total narcissist. The nurses are not allowed to speak to the queen directly and she mocks them for making mistakes. She tries to give crazy medicines and cares nothing about patients being in pain. She uses an up to date protocol and that is the only good thing that I have to say about her. You will see her PA and not her. PA are good for well visits but if I have cancer I want to see an MD. Choose another dr!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
