Very disappointed in the ability to be seen as a patient. When you made the pledge to “do not harm” did it include financial gain? Turning away a patient based solely on a misconception is unethical in my opinion!

I have been with Dr Stefanis for over 30 years. My husband and I would not let anyone else treat us. He has performed 3 surgeries on me and 2 on my husband. He does not operate until it is totally necessary!! If he does not do the surgery that is needed he refers you to where you need to go...I went to Mayo. I urge everybody to see him first or a second opponent. He cares, his staff care and I always like my husband feel I am getting the best care possible!! Word Train

ChampVA would of paid you, but your staff refuses to acknowledge this despite the multiple calls from representatives at ChampVA. I hope you never give treated the way I have! I just wanted to be a patient.

I have known Dr.Stefanis since 2006 , he did my neck and back surgery and I have never had any problems with either of them since. I give him a 10.He and his staff is very professional(Hunter, and Emily) also.They are very professional , they answer all your questions and are very understanding.

Dr. Stefanis and his Physician Assistant Hunter Jackson both are wonderful Doctors. I just had Neck surgery in September of 2020 and just had Back Surgery in December. Their whole staff and team always make sure you feel comfortable. They are always willing to answer any questions and treat you with consideration and kindness.

I had to have a Neck and Back Fusion. I had the Neck Surgery in Sept 2022. The Back Surgery was done at the end of December 2022. Having 2 surgeries that close together you would think would be painful. I feel better than I have in years. Dr Stefanis is an Excellent surgeon! He has made me feel like a new person.

I had neck surgery 2 weeks ago.I tell people you get a double win with this guy.Not only is he a fantastic surgeon but a great person as well.He really is the best not only in this area but I would dare say the state .Im not a person that gives Google reviews good or bad.I think in this case it is deserving. If you are thinking about having surgery whether neck or back go see Dr.Stefanis.You owe it to yourself.

Absolutely poor customer service, could not get a return call and I was turned away because I was a self-pay. Would not recommend anybody to go here staff is very unwelcoming. And if you read further down in the comments you will see that I am not the only one with the accusation about the staff.

I have been going to see Dr. George Stephanis for about a year! I have had 2 Epidurals and 2 trigger shots which they helped with the sciatic but not my hips and back and Dr. Stephanis told me that therapy would not do any good and that he thought I needed surgery because at 74 yrs old and the disk disease would not get any better but worse as I aged and what he said made sense! I think Dr Stephanis is a wonderful doctor but his staff is something to be reckon with! The only problem I have with Dr. Stephanis is out of the 5 times I went to see him I only seen him once the other 4 was Pa's. Pa's are good but when I am going to get surgery I won't to see my doctor! The staff did not work with my new Insurance nor would they take cash money! I am very disgusted with them and I probably will find another Spine surgeon!
