Dr. Bagnato performed the gastric sleeve on my husband a few months ago. He had complications after the procedure and Bagnato was no where to be seen. Worse than that, he regularly lied to us about what happened and tried to blame us for why he didn’t come see my husband when he was re-admitted to the hospital for 2 days. My husband has lost weight after the surgery, but he could have easily had much worse outcomes if I was not an NP and knew to take him back to the hospital when I did.

The gastric sleeve was essentially effective, the problem is that my husband had complications after the surgery and Bagnato was no where to be seen. When the complications were brought to his attention, he initially tried to lie to us and then tried to place blame on everyone but himself. If I was not an NP and didn’t know what signs to look for or to stand up to Dr. Bagnato, my husband could have had much worse complications.

Dr. Bagnato did a lapband on me in 2012. NO, I would NOT recommend him! He was great till I got the lapband and then was worthless when it didn't work right for me. No follow up whatsoever! Never told me about any other options or revisions. I have since gone to another surgeon, had a revision and have been very successful. Have lost 135 pounds so far.

I received treatment from dr BAGNATO and he’s a caring and compassionate doctor. He performed on me the hynia hernia repair and herd . I’m planning to have the sleeve done but I’m seeking more information.

Dr Vito Bagnato is a very good surgeon. He helps you understand you are doing this for yourself, not others. He teaches you that you will feel so much better after you lose the weight. This is not some surgery you can just work in his office and say I am here to have the lap band. It has stages you go through, it took me a year about I got everything one at a time. His staff is wonderful, as smiling, and will help you with all of your needs.

I had been to many doctors before finally finding Dr Bagnato. He immediately diagnosed and fixed my reflux. The procedure was easy and I was back to work in just a few days. I am so grateful to him I'm sleeping through the night for the first time in years. He is truly a lifesaver. A Happy Nanny
