Dr Greenberg’s office is the happiest I have ever been to His charm and professionalism spreads to his nurses and the entire office. I really enjoyed these people. May everybody be like them.
They made me wait for almost a hour past my appointment. He also made assumptions about black and was shocked when I said it didn’t apply to me. And when I went I didn’t see any black people.
Outstanding dermatologist
I'm shocked to see how many years of experience he has. He seemed so much younger to me just because he had so much energy and enthusiasm. You would think it was his first day of work because he was so ready to do his job. He was patient and kind and could explain what he was doing. I got a mole I have had for far too many years removed. I told him my theories on whether or not it came from a skin graft and he explained why it likely wasn't in layman terms. Great doctor. I'm glad he found Macon.
Dr. Greenberg is a wiz! He’s committed to seeing his patients through. He follows up to check on parients’ progress. He explains that it’s optimal for patients to have peace of mind. If he can ease that, a good night’s sleep is worth a lot. He is approachable, collaborative, and proactive. He is a rare gem, and he is part of a top practice with a sterling reputation. I am truly grateful Dr. Greenberg is my dermatologist. He has great honor and integrity, and he is a good human, best of all!
I was referred to Dr. Greenberg and I could not have asked for better doctor. Excellent bedside manner, every professional and made me feel very comfortable. Pain free procedure and called back the next day himself to make sure that everything was going OK. Where do you get that kind of service anymore? Highly recommended.
Horrible experience. I was referred to his office in Macon because I had two spots on my leg so wanted them checked as I have a history of skin cancer. My primary care told me they would send over the referral and I made an appt and showed. Apparently, I foumd out that the Doctor dropped the ball, either forgot to send or sent to wrong clinic. Normally they also do a full body exam as well but did not. One spot was fozen off, not cancerous. He looked at the other spot and said it "didn't look like cancer" and said I didn't need a biopsy. i told him I wanted one done anyway to be sure. Then he said it would cost me additional frrom my $40 dollar copay for labwork so I said go ahead. Then he left the room and the nurse injected lidocaine, then he came back in immediately and started cutting. The lidocaine didn't have time so when he started cutting, extreme pain grimmacing, butt off table. Rather than stop and wait, he kept cutting. It was bandaged and I went home. About 10 dats later, got a call that it WAS cancerous and made an appt to come in for surgery. Came in , told him about needing to wait for lidocaine to work this time so was injected and he left for a bout 20 minutes , then came in and started. Cut a huge chunk out of my leg, left it sitting open, uncovered and went into the room nextdoor and heard him with another patient. Then came back, said I needed a skin graft closure Then was walked to a waiting room to wait while they tested the biopsied peice. Then walked back to the surgical room and said he needed to do a skin graft closure and left again, then came back and did the stiching and closure. I could hear him in the other room talking to patients.Long story short, almost three hours to do somethimg that should have taken roughly an hour, I made an appt to have the stiches removed and left. Then about a week later it got infected and the skin was growing over the sutures. Was fed up by this time so paid a $75 copay to go the the ER, get strong antibiotics and get the stiches removed. Some are still in there 8 months later. Horrible red scarring on my leg still. Was irrate so put a bad review of the clinic and him. Then he started calling, I wouldnt answer, so he sent me a certified kind of nasty letter to cover himself so I called him and told him what I thought. He asked me to come in , no charge and have him look at it. So I did. Basically, he wanted to take a pic of it and told me it would take 6 months to heal. then about 3 months ago, sent me a bill for $200 and some dollars claiming my insurance rejected pymt due to lack of insurance, money overdue, pay now. Called billing and aske d them why they didn't tell me there was no referral, yet took me and my $40 dollar copay? They said they take anybody who walks in, insurance, referral or not and not their responsibility to inform me there was no referral. So called my insurance company, after getting threatened to send me to collections and they said If he took the co pay , he can't charge more and now it's all settled. II don't owe.he has to accept the $40 or bill my insurance, not me. He 's part owner of the clinic, books multiple patients at once which makes him apparently in too much of a hurry to do a good job. Just my opinion, don't want another certified letter accusing me of slander. I won't be going back nor will I take down this review if asked.* months later, still a huge purple scar with little black stiching peices showing. Excuse my grammatical typing errors, I don'ttype well when I'm stressed out and pi**ed off.
Saw Dr. Greenberg today for removal of skin cancer on my face. He was extremely kind, caring and gentle. He answered all my questions, took his time with me and asked several times during the procedure if I was doing ok. He spent time putting the stitches in so I would not have much (if any) scar. He even came to speak with me to say he had one person ahead of me to do stitches on and he would be with me in 10-15 minutes. Instead of having a nurse do it, he talked to me personally. That meant a lot. He and his entire staff were the best I have ever dealt with and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Compassionate, caring, and really cares about his patients.....if I could give him 10 stars, I would!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
