Yvette Sandoval's Online Review Report Card

If your looking for a doctor that seems very uninterested in your health, then she’s the lady for you. Problems: she doesn’t look at her patients, only her computer screen that faces away from you ( with her knees spread wide open with her feet on the rungs of her office chair). Front desk staff are rude. Dr dresses unprofessionally in mini dresses and knee high boots. She’s very proud of her good looks as there are photos of herself all over her office. Barely touches the patient, just asks questions. Even though my daughter is in a wheelchair, she can walk with assistance. The doctor has never even asked to get her out of her wheelchair to evaluate her gait. One entire room is filled with dusty childish snow globes. We were patients there for a couple of years and were never happy with the office. We finally just turned to someone else.

Do not waste your time, money, or put the faith of your well-being into the hands of Dr. Sandoval. She immediately tried to discredit my primary care doctor without even examining me. She contradicted herself after evaluating me. I pretty much had to beg her to consider my concerns. She was 100% confident my issue was not neurological only to refer me to another specialty who referred me back to a neurologist after performing a series of tests and evaluations. I will not be going back to see her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sandoval's for years. She is friendly and thorough. She answers all my questions and concerns and presents me with all the best options available. Her office feels like a welcoming place. Her nurse is bright, experienced and caring too. Dr. Sandoval types into her chart while I talk, which was hard to get used to at first, but since she actually uses her notes for follow-ups, I don't mind.

This "dog lady" should have her medical license taken away. I had typical symptoms in 2019 of something neuro going on with right sided paralysis, droopy eye, slurred speech. She ordered an MRI and there were 3 spots to which she basically said "everyone has those. If i opened my head, i probably have some too" its nothing. Even though on the mri it clearly said, lyme disease or ischemic changes or vasculitis or something else. She basically told me i had anxiety and go on and keep living. She has such bad demeanor. This "doctor" has a dog in its cage Inside her office! She doesnt even look at you when she talks. She has her back towards you the whole time. And lets not even talk about her horrible "sense of humor". She basically laughed at me. Worse doctor ever. Now im seeing a great neurologist who ordered another mri and it clearly states its either a stroke or an autoimmune disease. Bloodwork also came positive. Had this lady done her job, my spots would not have gotten bigger in

She diagnosed me with Parkinsonism without making ANY tests. Only because I was taking a medication with POTENTIAL side effects. After talking to my psychiatrist and other neurologists (who where in shock about this) and writing back to her she was stubborn about it. My other neurologist knew from the beginning of the appointment that I had no Parkinsonism however he did ALL THE TESTS necessary to rule it out (connecting my brain to an actual machine). Dr.s like Yvette Sandoval should not be allowed to practice medicine, what happened to me can happen to others and is no joke. In my appointment she had her dogs in a cage in her office and held the appointment in shorts, go figure.

I Was a new patient...waited weeks for an appointment. Scheduled for 7:45 am. Walked in the door of the building at exactly 7:45 Its a big hospital and their office is on the second floor. I walked into the office at 7:55 and was told to fill out paperwork.. Then at 8 was told that I would have to reschedule! Very rude and unprofessional staff...my time is just as valuable as this so called "doctor/pill pusher"

She was awful. I have several very concerning Neuro Problems and she was literally more interested in my SOCKS than in asking me any questions about my symptoms. Told me I should exercise to distract myself from a debilitating migraine! Are you kidding me? She offered nothing but quack advice. She should NOT be in charge of helping people facing a scary medical problem. I did love that she had a dog in the office. He was a perfect baby. He would probably have been more helpful than she was, if he was awake!

Doctor Sandoval is a very nice knowledgeable person. She speaks directly to me like an adult and with intelligence. I feel confident in her treatment suggestions and our visits.

I use to think the offices of Dr. Sandoval were great. That was until today. I have seen Dr. Sandoval several times and I have never once complained. My thinking on having to wait for Doctors past your scheduled appointment time is that they are with someone who needed more time. Today I was 15 minutes late, on the dot, not 16 minutes, not 20 mins. Traffic was unusually bad. I've never been late before, I've always been early. Today they canceled my appointment and told me I could stay and wait for a cancelation. There was 1 guy there. My appointment was a follow up, it wouldn't have taken more than 5 mins. My time is just as valuable as her time. I will not be wasting my time to see her again.
