List of A KEITH Levinson's Reviews
I am very livid wirh this Dr. At the time of his services he was fantastic. My reason for this review is now he comes back 14 months later and Wellstar is billing me for a procedure that was done 14 months ago snd they are JUST NOW billing for. Of course my insurance will hardly cover it and they are trying to stiff me wirh over 90% of the charges. I will be filing a complaint against Wellstar as well as probably talking to an attorney. Not cool!!! Had they submitted the claim in a timely manner my insurance would have covered at least 90% snd I would have gladly paid the 10% of the charges. But seriously- 14 months later.
Good doctor He gave my husband excellent advise while my husband was in Kennestone hospital.
Very poor care and management of my husband's bladder cancer case. Poor bedside manner, communication and sense of urgency. He assumed a test performed at his practice was more accurate than the assessment of the ER doctor and cancer of both bladder and prostate went undetected for longer than necessary. If you are looking for a urologist who can handle complex medical cases, please do not start here. If you are an existing patient in this practice and not getting answers, please do not hesitate to go somewhere else.
TURP performed on me Dr. Levinson was the urologist in charge of my care when I was admitted to the ER with a UTI and bacteremia. Dr. Levinson did a fantastic TURP on me that resulted no negative side effects that I was expecting.
I was a patient of Dr. Levinson for years. He was kind, considerate, a wonderful doctor. He treated me for UTI's and kidney stones. I went for a time without problems and didn't come for appointments. When I did come to the office again, I had more of a GYN problem, so I asked for a female doctor. I had no idea I would have to stay with this doctor forever. Now, I'm stuck with her, and I curse the day I changed. She is rated highly but she doesn't see her patients, is impossible to talk to, is always in a hurry, and is everything I dislike in any doctor. I am presently in the process of looking for another urologist.
I feel this doctor deserves 5 stars, but I can no longer work with his staff. They also seem to be good people, but can't return my calls regarding a time-sensitive surgery that was ordered by this doctor. Their disorganization has cost me lots of money and my husband lots of physical pain. I am sure this can't be their intent, but it is the result. I simply can't in good concience recommend this doctor's office to anyone.
I honestly like the people I've met here, but I cannot recommend this office to anyone. Dr. Levinson is a good doctor, but his staff are, unfortunately, disorganized to an alarming degree. I have called them repeatedly for well over a month to get a surgery scheduled that was ordered by Dr. Levinson, but all I get are voicemails and the occassional kind, but dissinterested party, who sends me to a voicemail. Messages are not answered. This is beyond frustrating as time is of the essence--this is per the doctor's own words. Now, as much time has passed, my husband is in great pain and missing work, again. I don't feel I can depend on this office any longer, which is a shame as I do think Dr. Levinson is a worthy urologist.
Dr. Levinson is a good doctor. He makes good decisions and I believe thoroughly understands his profession and the options available to a patient. I have complete confidence in him. My recommendation falls apart when the office administration's failings are applied. With the exception of the front desk receptionist, I find them difficult or even impossible to contact. Leaving messages provide no results. They rarely answer their extensions. I have been attempting to schedule a procedure for well over a month, but they seem far from interested, though the doctor ordered it. My husband is balled up on the bed in pain, meanwhile, missing work yet again. We have lost many hundreds of dollars up to this point due to their disorganization; a cancellation was made to a previous scheduled procedure because they forgot to follow up on important medical information from another doctor. I honestly like the people I've met here--they are kind--but I cannot recommend this office to anyone.
Doctor Levinson was prepared for my visit and was aware of my reason for the visit which was very reassuring to me.
Excellent service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
