Coast Dental's Online Review Report Card

When I first scheduled my appointment, I was told by the scheduler that it would include the cleaning same day and the visit would be an hour and a half. On the day of appointment, I was only told at the end of my exam that the cleaning had to be scheduled for later. The only reason I made an appointment was to have the cleaning so it didn’t make sense to be made aware of this 30 minutes into the visit.

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable

I had an emergency situation and they saw me promptly. They also had a very courteous and professional staff to assist me. This will definitely be my new dentist office!

Their billing department is ridiculous. In my first visit they gave me a total for the services to be performed, of which I would pay upon completion. The day of my appointment the hand me a bill for $200 more than the quoted price. When I showed my original total, they corrected their mistake. Now, after two months later, I receive endless texts and emails saying I owe $800 more dollars ON TOP OF WHAT I ALREADY PAID! I also received a bill in the mail for $400. I made numerous calls that just go to voicemail, no call back. After speaking with my insurance company, they told me that this office submitted my bill twice and are trying to collect the money from the denied redundant claim. If you want to save yourself a headache, go elsewhere.

Coast Dental was excellent. Great staff and they do a great job. If your looking for a great Dental office I recommend this place.

Please avoid this practice. Their billing department is a joke...They sent me a bill for x-rays that were not done during my routine cleaning visit (their system was down that day). They have sent me the bill at least 10 times, along with multiple text reminders....I called the billing line 4 times....always goes on VM...I left VM and no one ever bothered to call back. The fifth time I called, the message said the VM is full and so I couldn't leave one this time. Seriously? I called the front desk twice to report this billing issue and I was put on hold for more than 15 mins...needless to say no one ever came back to talk, I had to hang up...Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. I called the front office the third time....was kept on hold for 12 mins. The lady took the details of my billing issue and promised to call back by the EOD.....no call....the next evening she called and told me they had taken x-rays (not true) and so I asked her to email me a copy of the x-ray....its been 2 days, I haven't received x-ray....well, if they didn't take any, how would she send it? Please go to a practice who have time for their patients and has a LEGIT Billing department. Please avoid them at all cost. I read all the recent reviews below and they all have the same complaints...this practice is a Joke. Wish I would give them ZERO stars. MANAGEMENT: Pls don't respond to this review and ask me to call your Quality Assurance number. I don't have a single more minute to waste on your business/practice. Besides, I am very sure that number won't work either like your billing line number.

Everyone is very friendly and they’ll work together as a team. There office is extremely clean.
