Dhanu Meleth's Online Review Report Card

He is an awesome doctor with and puts his patients at ease. I believe I have vision today because of him.

Dr. Meleth treated my elderly Mother so well. I believe that he saved her eyesight, and he was so gentle and patient with her every time. She and I always wanted to know exactly what was happening, and he took the time to explain it to us. Dr. Meleth always took time to answer our questions. My Mom had to get a needle in her eye once every 4-8 weeks for several years, and he did this quickly and as gently as possible. He is a very caring eye doctor. I saw a one star review, with no details. I will say that I found that practice of Marietta Eye Clinic a frustrating place to deal with. The wait was usually 2-3 hours, I hope this has improved. I had a very small child at the time, and this was very hard. It's been at least three years since I have taken my Mom there though, sadly she has passed. Dr. Meleth and his staff always treated her so nicely, I never had any problems with them. More importantly, if you are scared for your eyesight, he is so knowledgable, talented, professional, and patient! If I had eye problems, I would still go and wait the 3 hours, because I would be confident that he would help me. You only get one body.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meleth for several years and I am being treated for macular degeneration. Dr Meleth is an excellent doctor. He shows genuine concern for my situation, he takes time to answer any questions I might have and he is always pleasant. One could not have a better doctor. He is also a very fine person.

Are visit here with doctor Meleth was extremely unpleasant. My mom doesn’t speak English and even though she was accompanied by my sister who speaks both Spanish and English very well he waited for my sister to leave the room to start explaining the procedure an English and bits of Spanish which didn’t make any since to my mother. There should have been an interpreter present or at least explained it To my sister who could speak both Spanish and English. He left out very important details of the Retina surgery my mom would Be having and failed to explain everything properly. My mom was traumatized from the experience as after the surgery she was fully blind in one eye and her cataracts had gotten worse and we we’re told that she would need two more surgeries before her vision improved. Which we we’re all also unaware of until after the surgery. We’re Seeking legal help against this doctor So please if you have any other options use them. Because these doctor will leave out key details to a procedure that could cause you extrema discomfort. Be cautious when working with him and ask a lot of a questions. I would not recommend him to anyone any living person on this earth.

Dr Meleth has become a part of our family. I have never seen such dedication in a healer. He has been our partner as we have fought our progressive outer retinal narcosis and his staff have been there with us through every surgery, follow-up and post-op. We have trusted the vision of sight to him and he has risen to challenges, brought in extra resources and sought outside counsel. This is one doctor that truly believes his patients' sight and health is his reason for living.

Dr. Meleth didn’t seem to have the interest in finding a solution to my diagnosis. He did not listen to my concerns and almost wanted to go back and forth with me when I expressed that I was dissatisfied with the ability of getting in contact with his nurse tech/assistant. There is never a reason to be rude and state how busy you are to a patient who is paying for a service.
