Top shelf surgeon.
I had a vein procedure done by DR Jacobson within 3 weeks it opened back up, causing my leg to have a numb feeling(like it has fallen asleep that terrible tingling feeling) it has been 5 years still numb and painful, I went back several times, he could care less, oh well it looks like it has opened back up was his attitude! And did nothing to help me! I will never let him touch any of my veins again!!!!!
Dr Jacobson did a vein procedure with in a short time the vein reopened my leg has a numb feeling and lots of pain. Was advised by him nothing can be done. When I went in to have procedure he was more interested in flirting with girls and playing music then in my leg! Horrible experience!
Everyone is extremely helpful and courteous. Services provided are excellent. You receive outstanding care for all aspects of each visit.
Dr J is super friendly and personable. He took time to explain and answer my questions about the vein procedure. A real people person and excellent physician! He & his staff did an outstanding job, a nearly pain free procedure! He even checked on me during recovery and that spoke volumes to me! Thanks!
I love the way this Dr sits down and goes over everything with you. He takes his time and is very patient. If you need this type of Dr this is the one to see.
Recently, I had a vein procedure done by Dr. Jacobson at Vein Specialists of Northwest Ga. I had an ugly varicose vein removed at the top of my foor near my ankle. I had a wonderful experience with him and the entire staff. Everyone was so professional and extremely nice. Dr. Jacobson did an amazing job on my procedure, and I am so happy with the results. This is an unusually patient-friendly office, and I highly recommend it.
Dr. Jacobson is amazing. He is a highly skilled surgeon but also a genuine people person. My dad is in his 70s and he has been seeing Dr. J for about three years now, and he has performed for him multiple procedures, including the most recent, which was placing a stent in his leg to address PAD symptoms. Dr. J is very personable and he patiently explains everything along with diagrams and he encourages questions. Although he has a busy practice he gives my dad his undivided attention and was fine with having the consults recorded on audio to share with other family members. The review claiming Dr. Jacobson is in it solely for the money seems ridiculous based on our families experiences. When he first discussed with my dad the possibility of a stent he told him it was an elective procedure, that it would likely help diminish or eliminate the pain in his leg with extended walking, but that it wasn't something he would consider to be a must-do procedure, that it was up to my dad. Dr. Jacobson closely monitored my dad's legs and never pressured him to move forward; it was only after two years that my dad opted to have the procedure, and it seems to have been very successful. Our family highly recommends Dr. Jacobson; he has that blend of experience, skill and bedside manner that one looks for in a doctor. My dad has seen multiple specialists after a quadruple bypass several years ago and while he has been fortunate to have been cared for by some wonderful physicians, Dr. Jacobson has hands-down been our favorite.
I was so impressed with Dr. Jacobson. He was so knowledgeable, caring and took the time to explain and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend him.
Worst doctor ever! Lost my leg because of him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
