Such a blessing to the medical community. A caring, kind doctor who is always learning and researching to further her knowledge to help her patients in every aspect of their lives.

Dr. Gaston is a medical genius, and highly known and respected in the field of rheumatology. On my first visit with Dr. Gaston she explained to me the importance of the physical, mental, and science of medicine. She went into detail expressing all of the components will be important to my overall health. She talked about exercise, water consumption, and diet and at one point I was confused about if she was a nutritionist or a physician. She offered and recommended a psychological referral if needed and also recommended me to support groups in which I respectfully declined and their was no additional pressure. I never had a doctor that focused on all of the components as a whole unit. I am no longer a patient of Dr. Gaston based on insurance constraints. However, I miss Dr. Gaston very much and I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with autoimmune disorders. I had two lupus flare ups before becoming Dr. Gaston's patient which caused me to be hospitalized for weeks at a time. Since seeing Dr. Gaston I have had 0 flare ups and I began my journey with Dr. Gaston when I was 20 and I am now 46. Dr. Gaston is also an advocate for her patients. At work I was freezing because of the temperature and she wrote my job a letter so that they can accommodate me. Let me tell you she had them insulating my cube, they ordered special gloves, and boots and allowed me to wear hats to work. I was appalled. Dr. Gaston has changed my life and overall health for the better and for that I am forever grateful. Blessings to all reading this review and may you all reach Optimum health!

Dr. Gaston has truly changed my life for the better! I saw her for the first time at around 14-15 years old with previously undiagnosed psoriasis. After the diagnosis she really helped me get back to my normal self through lifestyle changes, vitamin supplements, and some medication. I recommend her to anyone with an autoimmune problem because Dr. Gaston is improving lives! I am now 20 work and in school living a life I didn’t think was possible 5 years ago!!

After calling a long list of rheumatologists, I reached Demelia at Dr. Gaston's office. She scheduled me quickly, was super nice and immediately put me at ease. My appointment with Dr. Gaston was an extension of Demelia's kindness. Dr. Gaston is thorough, knowledgeable and patient. She went over my bloodwork with me line by line and explained in detail. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Gaston and her staff are phenomenal. Very kind and helpful. I've been a patient for a few years, and I can honestly say she is the best doctor, in any practice area, that I have ever been to see.

In 2017, I visited Dr. Gaston per my doctor’s recommendation because I had been in pain for years and he thought it could be an auto immune disease. I had to be off of my anti-inflammatory medication for a few days before the bloodwork was taken so I was in extreme pain when I visited Dr. Gaston. When she first saw me, she “corrected” my posture aggressively which caused my back to spasm, me to break out in tears, and my arms to flail up. She reacted very badly to this and told me to calm down and then seemed afraid of me. Mind you, I am a small woman, nothing to be afraid of. When I got my results, she said that my lab work was completely normal, but since I was in pain she would prescribe me Tramadol (a narcotic-like pain reliever) - RED FLAG. I told her I did not want to take heavy pain meds like that and she told me to take turmeric. Seems like there should have been an option in between narcotics and spices. Overall, this was an awful experience and I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Gaston unless you want to be manhandled and then not taken seriously.

Dr. Gaston was very unprofessional, rude, and disappointing. I felt she was just concerned with scheduling the maximum amount of telehealth appointments. She lacked care, concern, compassion, and professionalism. What a waste of time and disappointment.
