My First Interaction With The Dr Wasn’t As Pleasant But Being It Was My First Time..I Figured I Just Needed Time To Get Used To Her. She Only Seems To Constantly Care About My Weight, I Understand I Am Overweight And Need To Lose Some Pounds For My Health But Her Approach Is Not Likable. Since I’ve Been Going To Her For The Past 8 Months I Have Lost 20 Pounds. I Recently Had An Appointment To Do A Check Up And I Also Wanted To Discuss About My Severe Headaches I’ve Had For 2 Weeks Straight And Trying To Find A Better Solution For My Insomnia Being That I Take Sleeping Pills Every Night. The Assistant Noted Everything In My Chart, So I Know She Seen It But She Completely Ignored My Concerns And Only Focused On Me Losing More Weight. If I Just Wanted A Weight Loss Doctor I Would Have Went To A Weightloss Clinic But Being My Primary Doctor I Expected Her To Be Concerned With My Concerns And Address It. She Talked To Me About My Weight And Said She Was Going To Get Something For Me… While I Waited For Her To Come Back, Hoping She Was Coming Back To Talk About My Headaches And Sleeping Problems, I Was Greeted With The Front Desk Lady Saying I Was Good To Go. She Completely Ignored My Concerns And It Was An Extreme Disappointment. I Couldn’t Even Say Anything Because I’ve Never Been Ignored Like That. The Staff Is Very Nice And Friendly But The Doctor…Not So Much. Probably Will Be My Last Time Going.

Dr. Veliyath has been my doctor for 22 years. She is an excellent diagnostician and takes the time to really listen - our appointments are never rushed, and the staff is responsive and accommodating. My husband and I like that it is a small practice. The wait is never more than 5 minutes to be seen, which is refreshing. Because of Dr. Veliyath, we have averted some major health crises over the years. You cannot ask for a better doctor.
