Dr. Winter is the best you can't go wrong with this one. My whole family has been to him for years. My dad had several aneurysms and my mom had a fistula. And her fistula has to be maintained every three months. I had to be checked for aneurysm. And now my husband has a referral for a vascular surgeon. Guess where we are going. Yup that's right Dr. Winter. You can't go wrong with Dr. Winter or this office. Dr. Winter has a fabulous bedside manner. And he explains everything very well. You can't go wrong with him.
My appointment was scheduled for 9:45 with Dr. Winter and it is now 10:45 and I am still in the waiting room. No one has explained why there is such a long delay. This is very unprofessional in my opinion. I hate when doctors aren't considerate of a patient's time.
The office and nursing staff are very friendly and efficient. Dr Winter’ assistant is very thorough, personable and on the ball with paperwork, prescriptions, follow ups etc. Dr Winter himself has the kind of dry sarcastic humor that I was raised on which I think is great. He’s very professional, REALLY knows his patients and comes up with solutions and suggestions to improve your condition and explains them in layman’s terms. Would definitely recommend this office!
Was not very happy would not return his call would not use him again took her money and did test still could tell what wrong would not use him
Excellent one sharing of my issues, risks and oportunities.
Dr Winters seemed caring and personable. He was two hours behind schedule and I would have thought he would rush through the appt but didn’t. He took the time to explain the tests that came back and the process of future treatment. Personally I don’t want a doctor who is going to be sympathetic, it only makes a person feel worse. I want a solution to the problem and I felt this is the direction he has taken.
Dr. Winter is NOT a people person, that is for sure. He is however a competent surgeon. He amputated my left leg below the knee and did a fair job. Winter needs a job on an amputation farm just cranking out amputations like a machine. He'd be great at that. Leave the compassion, empathy and caring to others more suited as he either has none or cannot express it.
This Doctor Winters was the most absolute Rude and Unkind person I had met. I wouldn't expect his kind of attitude from a child working the drive thru window at a fast food place much less a Professional Medical Doctor who is supposed to be well Mannered and refined. He is a disgrace to his profession and has a God complex. His diagnosis was totally inaccurate and cost me another 5 months and 2 doctors to confirm what he refused to accept. I would have most likely been dead of a Heart attack if left untreated after his visit. I would not let him near a hospital. He should be euthanizing rabid animals not dealing with sick and needy people. He violated every aspect of his Oath. I can't believe WellStar would tolerate such behavior from one of their Doctors. Even the Nurses commented on his behavior.
This is a very knowledgeable and proficient dr. I have been extremely pleased with him. And highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
