List of MIchael Mangonon's Reviews
Dr. Mangonon is gentle and compassionate and explained my condition and possible solutions well. I did feel like he cared about me and my physical condition and wanted to help as much as possible. He also performed surgery excellently on my wrist. However I will take one star off because the practice he works at is exceptionally dishonest and deliberately bills patients wrong on purpose. While he is a good doctor I cannot recommend him for anyone while he still works at this insanely dishonest business.
Ive had two separate hand surgeries in a month and what a difference. Dr. Mangonon explained the cause of all the pain and the procedure to be done on both hands. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night in pain and the feeling like my hands are on fire. He was wonderful to deal with and his follow thru is outstanding.
I would highly advise you to find another hand specialist. Do not make an appointment with this doctor. I fractured my hand for a second time and had made an appointment to see him 2 days later. The xray machine at the facility that they used was very foggy and I could not see any detail of my break. As soon as Dr. Mangonon walked in to see me he was pushing me to get surgery within the next 48 hours. I was 19 at the time and I think he was trying to take advantage of the situation to get a quick pay check. While I was on my way out of the facility one of Dr. Ms previous patients overheard me arguing with the front desk about how I wasnt going to make an appointment for surgery until l got a second opinion. He stepped out of the office and waited until I left and he asked me if I had just seen Dr. M. I told him yes and he explained to me how he had just had hand surgery from him and that he went to another place and was told he didnt need surgery and that he was pursuing a court case against Dr. M. He advised me that I had made the right decision to go get another opinion. Even after I told them I was going to go get a second opinion the facility proceeded to call both of my parents about scheduling a surgery more than 10 times over the next two days. After getting a second opinion from another doctor he said that I did not need surgery and that I would be all healed within the next few weeks. FAST FOWARD a year from then and my hand is completely fine and functional. I am very glad that I did not get hand surgery from this corrupt doctor. Not to mention they called a year later about a bill that they claimed they sent to me serveral times and that I needed to pay. I got no such receipts in the mail for my visit and neither did my parents. Stay away from this Dr.
After an appointment with Dr. Michael Mangonon at the Canton office on August 7th 2017 it is now October 8 2017 and I am still waiting for my prescription. Have called the Canton office four times. Four times I have been told they will get right back to me. About the only thing that was prompt was their bill. Based on my personal experience I cannot recommend in them in any manner whatsoever. and really wish I could have awarded a zero star The worst patient follow up I have ever experienced literally in decades.
Very knowledgeable caring professional doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
