List of Piedmont Physicians Pulmonary And Sleep Medicine Marietta's Reviews
This is not a Primary Care Physican. Please make sure you have visited this practice. This is a LUNG SPECIALIST. This isn't primary care.
Had to call 3 times to return to voice message, long wait on phone line plus I went there for annual check up and no one told me I had to be hungry for blood work before my appt. Waste of time!
Very surprised at the bad reviews. I’ve seen Dr. Locke for a about a decade. He’s very thorough and he helped with the diagnosis of another issue I had by referring me to a different doctor. I rarely wait long and everyone is always friendly. My main complaint is billing. They keep sending letters for collection even though it’s been resolved and if you contact them about it they say their system does it automatically.
My husband and I had 4 different doctors with this practice. They hired a new doctor that we saw for a year but we didn't realize he was not on our Humana insurance plan. No one told us, so at the end of the year we received invoices for our visits and had to pay 70% of each visit that was not covered under our insurance. I spent numerous hours between Piedmont and Humana trying to do something about it, but Piedmont would not do anything, so we had to pay it. We left the practice after 17 years. We should have been informed that the doctor was not on our plan.
Dr Popykin and his MA Erika are absolutely wonderful! I tested positive for Covid and Covid Pneumonia on 2/21 and they have been so empathetic! Erika has been so kind and efficient! I just couldn’t ask for better care.
If you want quality medical care DO NOT come hereI literally had to pay over 200 dollars for a 30 minute visit where all the doctor did was asked me if I had questions! I went to get my annual check up and he did nothing more than to listen to my heart there was no concern whatsoever about tests I should be getting based on my age. I shouldn’t have to pay a doctor and also tell him how to do his job! I’ve reached out to the practice to speak with a supervisor and no return calls nor email I wish I could give them zero stars
Always timely. Staff is caring, respectful, and polite. Explanations are given by staff and physicians as needed and requested. Time is given to the patient and I never feel like I have been rushed.
Just like Sanjay Bhagat in a previous review, I was charged basically for two appointments when I was just there for a well check. The doctor purposely steers the conversation in a way that they will be able to bill for these charges. Shady and misleading. This is why people don't to go to the doctor. What a hassle.
Dr. Steve Harris is my doctor. He is very thorough. He cares about his patients and follows up with them. Makes sure you are taken excellent care of in the office and while in the hospital. Staff is very kind and courteous. All doctors in practice and PA’s are extraordinary as well!!! Would recommend any of these doctors.
Worst place to deal with. They love sending you bills in the mail later after you already paid even though insurance deductible had been met, they claimed it was not. They make the bills very hard to follow and figure out where the charges came from.. Had to call 4 or 5 times over the course of 2 weeks to get refunded for overcharging me. Ridiculous place and many cheaper (and honest) places to go to.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
