I DO NOT recommend going to this facility. I initially called to make an appointment. I was told I didn't need one. When I arrived, there were 3 people waiting. I was told to sign in and sit down. One CSR left so there was only 1 person checking people in. It was a very lively atmosphere and they seemed more interested in talking and having fun than checking in people. One lady waiting was in extreme pain and they did nothing to get her in quickly. After waiting over an hour just to get checked in, I was told that Wellstar couldn't accept my order because it was a copy of a doctor's signature. I really wish I would have known that before I waited an hour. I am still not sure why it took a hour to check in 2 people ahead of me. I went to a different Wellstar facility the next morning (Acworth Health Care) and they were excellent. They took the order without question, verified the doctor's name and I was in and out withing 15 minutes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are rude and have no concern for the people they serve. What a joke!!! Do better Wellstar.

I had an excellent experience with WellStar Kennestone Imaging Center. Charrisse worked to check me in and was very welcoming. She thoroughly explained the payment process to me and made me feel very comfortable. I also worked with Melissa and Dr Gira who were both very patient throughout the whole process. Melissa took time to explain the procedure to me and even held my hand during the process. Dr Gira was also very gentle and patient and checked in with me often to see if I was ok. I have had some bad experiences with HealthCare facilities but Wellstar Kennestone and their awesome team gave me hope again. I highly recommend their services.

I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. They're very fast and proficient. Nice waiting areas and the nurses are kind and helpful. MRI was done fast by professionals. Kennestone has really stepped up its game in the last 10 years,, gone are the days of spending 8 hours going to the hospital and getting and X-ray or CT scan.

This was the first time that I had to have these tests and I was very scared. The first Tech that did my scan of my gallbladder was so wonderful and explained everything that was going to happen and also while she was doing the scan. Put me at such ease. Then I went for the UGI and that Tech also was so great. Everything was explained about what was going to happen and after the test was over she explained how my body would react. Such a wonderful place. I wish that I had not been so scared that I would have remembered their names. Also, the Doctor during the UGI was very supportive and made me feel very comfortable all the way along. Thank you so much to all of you from Marleen Manley
