Tnx you for Prompt and quality service from start to finish kudos to the entire team for there awesome care doing my visit!
Love the staff here. All so professional. They know how to take care of your needs for my eye
I came to Marietta Eye Clinic for an eye exam a year ago. They are thorough and provide excellent care. Later this year, I was treated for an eye infection. Again superior care. Vision was examined on each visit. Had 2 follow up visits after initial eye infection visit, to ensure infection was completely treated and gone. The Optical department has some excellent staff. I had one experience with someone who was new in the Optical and she adjusted my glasses to where I could not even wear them. Upon return, the problem was resolved by someone more experienced and I am able to wear my new glasses now. Excellent products and guarantees and my insurance was accepted. They also have a surgery center.
I was pleasantly surprised by Marietta Eye Clinic. Easy to do self-check-in, ability to get an appt when needed, wait time was extremely minimal, and the Drs and staff are professional & knowledgeable.
Worst experience of my life! I had an appointment that lasted 2 1/2 hours. Contact doctor came in and checked my eyes during that time and everything. After my appointment, I was told that i had to wait for an additional contact appointment fitting. I have had the same contact for 10 years. I tried explaining this to the lady sitting at the desk for contacts and was told to sit down and wait. I waited for an additional 30-45 minutes with no help. Everytime I asked what was going on i was told to just sit down and wait rudely. I am not sure the name of this lady but she was extremely rude and never answered a single one of my questions. All she kept telling me was "maam you will need to sit down and wait". After 45 minutes i had to leave. I set up another appointment for a week later for this additional contact fitting that i had no answers about since the lady could not give me an answer as to why i needed a contact fitting even though i know what contacts work well for my eyes. The next week, my husband had to go pick up extra contacts for me since i ran out since i was not able to order more contacts. The same lady working at the contact desk was extremely rude to my husband. She kept questioning him if he received a call. My husband had to call the clinic multiple times with no answer. Finally when he got through they said they had more contacts and to come in. The same lady was rude and continued to question my husband why he was there and if someone called him. We had originally scheduled with the same lady the week before to pick up additional contacts on Tuesday. My husband called on tuesday, no contacts were there. My husband then called on Thursday and contacts were there so he went to pick it up, yet this lady continued to question why he was there. A week after this, i went back for my scheduled eye contact fitting appointment. My appointment was at 3:30. I was 10 minutes late. I called numerous times, but the center refused to answer. I ended up having to leave a message. I got there and the SAME lady told me to "sit down and wait". My appointment was at 3:30, i had to go and ask what was going on at 4:15. The lady working the desk kept telling me "maam, sit down". After no answers to my questions and continuous telling me to just sit down, i finally asked for a manager to help me with this issue. I explained to the manager the entire issue. They printed out my prescription in 3 minutes. This was the most frustrating experience. I wish i got the lady that worked at the contact desk, because she was the rudest person to both me and my husband every time. She never listened or answered any of my questions, but just continued to tell me to sit down and wait. What should of been a quick 1 1/2 hour appointment, turned into 3 different times over 30 minutes with this lady arguing with us. I have been coming to Marietta Eye Clinic for 7 years and have never had this experience ever. I will never be coming to this location again.
A nice place to go get your eyes taken care of
Friendly staff!
These people are miracle workers! And Nikki at the front desk is probably the kindest woman I’ve ever met that had to do with medical billing
I’ve been a patient at Marietta Eye Clinic for many years. Over 10 years. It has always been a very premier and reputable place but has gone downhill. I always saw Dr. Russell in the past, he was the best. I had experienced issues with front staff and insurance billing issues previously but kept going because of Dr. Russell and what a great doctor he was. Now he has retired so I had to pick a new doctor. I can only go on Saturdays because I work during the week. Getting a Saturday appointment is difficult and you have to schedule about 4 months in advance to secure a Saturday. I had to choose whatever doctor was available on Saturday and I got Dr. Cape. She is new. She looks to be fresh out of school. She spent about 60 seconds ( not exaggerating- literally 60 seconds) in the exam room with me after I waited for almost 2 hours to be seen. She is so soft spoken I couldn’t even hear what she was saying when she did speak and I’m in my 40s and not hard of hearing. I can’t imagine what an older person or someone hard of hearing would do with this doctor, they would never be able to hear her. She acts like a scared 12 year old. The technician did all the work prior to Dr. Cape coming in. The technician checked my eyes and did my eye exam and checked for my new prescription. Dr. Russell used to spend so much time with me as a patient and he always double checked to make sure that the prescription was correct that the technician had done. Not these new young doctors, they have a whole new attitude of entitlement that they can’t be bothered to do anything or spend any time with you. We have a whole generation of kids now entering the work force that don’t even know how to speak to people as humans. I expect my doctor to speak to me for more than 60 seconds after I’ve waited for 2 hours to be seen. Well I won’t be bothered to go back to Marietta Eye Clinic . What a joke this place has become. Stay away!!!!
Update 11/5/22: Left contact info as requested. Did get a call the next day saying my issues had been passed to the appropriate dept. and I would get a call. But, nothing after 2 days. Original review: I'm sure these folks are great for serious eye issues, but don't waste your time here if you just need glasses and contacts. Especially if you're hard to fit with contacts. You'll spend about 20 minutes with an actual doctor, then be handed off to a contacts fitter - who is NOT an eye doctor; check their job posting, you only need a HS degree or GED. You'll pay extra for the fitting in addition to the eye exam. I've worn contacts for 40 years, and am now dealing with presbyopia on top of my near-sightedness. I've been living with monovision, toric contacts for a few years, under a different doctor from an eyecare chain, but wanted to try Marietta Eye Clinic hoping they would have more knowledge, techniques, and experience dealing with difficult cases. Instead, I seem to have baffled my "fitter" because I don't want to settle for double-vision and not being able to drive at night. Instead of improving my situation, I've paid 3 times what I used to pay only to be moving backwards. Yes, I wanted to try multi-focal lenses, but I'm not the expert and I really just want to see better without fighting my lenses all day. Today, when I returned from my first week trial to tell my fitter that it wasn't working, she didn't have a solution. We spent over an hour with no progress, until I was rushed out because her other appointments were piling up. I now have NO trial lenses to wear, I'll have to revert to my old Rx or wear my glasses, while I wait for a call from the "expert fitter" to see what can be done. In the meantime, I'm told the actual doctor that I saw "doesn't know about fitting contacts," so I'm not allowed to speak with her about these problems. I'm now looking for a different clinic that can address my needs. Expensive lesson learned, I guess.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
