Dr Robert Underwood is such a wonderful surgeon I’ve met , and so all the nurses that working for his office. He was very patient , caring and take time to explain all questions . I felt very welcome and comfortable all the time I enter his office , he and his team really did an amazing job for me , I can’t just say enough about Dr Robert Underwood and his stuffs if I could I would rate thousands stars for him. Really really recommend Dr Robert underwood to someone planning to have thyroid surgery like me , thank you so so much Dr Robert Underwood 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dr. Underwood is the best!! Spent a lot of time explaining ....and drawing his surgical plan was for me. My scar is nearly invisible. Great doctor that seems to have true compassion.

Dr. Underwood is a fantastic communicator. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, treatment options, and recovery plan. While in hospital, Dr. Underwood followed up at the bedside several times and ensured my treatment plan was being implemented correctly and timely. I would recommend Dr. Underwood to anyone needing surgical care.

Dr Underwood and his staff were beyond remarkable. They squeezed me in during a holiday week because of my issue and anxiety. They were caring and empathetic and kind and patient and explained everything in plain english every step of the way. Robert was thorough and very skilled. No one wants a thyroid biopsy but it was pretty darn painless. His assistant Susan (his wife) actually held my hand during the procedure when I expressed a little anxiety. YOU CAN NOT GET THAT LEVEL OF CARING ANYWHERE. THEY ARE A SMALL PRIVATE PRACTICE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION IF YOU HAVE A THYROID ISSUE.

I had thyroid surgery on December 21st. The staff was fantabulous. They took great care of me and my boyfriend. They updated me, and my boyfriend on everything they were doing step by step. I would highly recommend him. Thank you

I met with Dr. Underwood last week regarding parathyroid surgery. I was unsure of what was going to happen but I can tell you this doctor literally pinpointed every thing I needed to know. He literally drew a picture on the examining table with the paper lining. He told me everything I needed to know without even taking a breath. At first I was a little skeptical because he did not look into my eyes when he was talking, but he was too busy drawing to help me understand what was going to happen and why. When he was finished with his explanation he was exceptionally in tune with me. I have never met a doctor like Dr. Underwood and I am pleased to say that he will be performing my surgery this month. I highly recommend this doctor if you are skeptical, or unsure of what your situation is In anyway, I urge you to see this doctor so that you will fully understand. He will let you know if he thinks you need to have surgery, and definitely will not beat around the bush. His staff is amazing, thorough, informative, sensitive, and just makes you feel good the minute you walk in the door. Good luck with Dr. Underwood you won’t be sorry.

Dr. Underwood performed a full thyroidectomy for me. Amazing surgeon. Incredibly dedicated to every step of the process. Great friendly team. His RN right hand Rosalind Bobo is wonderful, incredibly knowledgable, and just perfect in every way. Recommend highly.
