My dad had hernia surgery repair...and it went terribly. Do not go to this doctor. Waste of time and money, you'll end up just coming out worse than you were before.

My hernia surgery could not have gone any better. Dr Holcomb treats patients like friends, not to mention his office is beautiful! My surgery was a breeze and in one month everything is back to normal again. I competed in a volleyball tournament pain free and my scar is heating up very nicely! Thank you Dr Holcomb and staff!

Best surgeon for hernia repair! I had a very difficult situation. I needed a hysterectomy and 3 hernia repairs. I have a deep vein thrombosis and didn't want to go through Anastasia twice because it would increase my risk of another DVT. I wanted to combine both surgeries. My OB agreed to do the hysterectomy part, but told me it was impossible to line up a general surgeon to do hernia repair at the same time. He was partly right! It was almost impossible! NOBODY agreed to do hernia repair at the same time except Dr. Holcomb! This surgeon went above and beyond to help me. He repaired 3 hernias on my belly button. One month later I am able to work out! There is no pain whatsoever and I feel wonderful!Also, he was super nice with me. Do not believe all the negative reviews here. He is #1!!!!

Love Doctor. Holcomb he’s down to earth and real with you. He worked with my schedule and he was so nice and efficient. Loved the front desk ladies diddnt love his back office assistants. Minimal wait time!

If I could give this gentleman "negative 5 stars" I absolutely would. DO NOT GO TO THIS SO-CALLED DOCTOR. My 75-year old mother was referred to him by her primary for what is believed to be a mesh failure hernia. My mom is THE most ACTIVE 75-year old woman I have ever seen. Because of her current condition, she has basically been bed-ridden for almost 2 weeks now and in extreme pain. My mom simply does NOT lay around, so there is OBVIOUSLY something wrong. This "doctor" proceeded to basically tell my mother that there's nothing wrong with her, that she's imagining things. He all BUT called her a liar. Then, he proceeded to begin trying to small talk my dad about football, totally discounting my mother's obvious discomfort and pain as if she's just making her condition up. I am APPALLED at this man's behavior and extreme INCOMPETENCE. I will be contacting the Georgia state medical board and registering an official complaint regarding this sorry excuse for a doctor. Don't go to this doctor unless you wish to be made to feel like a fool who doesn't know their own body.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with this sarcastic & pompous man after all of my stitches popped on a Saturday and he was the oncall doctor. Im standing (because I cant sit down) and blood is dripping onto the carpet and he is telling me that there is nothing he can do. Some more conversation was exchanged about my concern about a huge scar being left if I werent stitched back up and he actually said & I quote, I dont care if you are a supermodel. My wonderful Dr Andersen (also part of the group) is on vacation & I will wait 10 days just so I can see Dr Andersen & not deal with this cold, sarcastic jerk.
