Veena Malepati's Online Review Report Card

Waiting two hours for a visit from a appointment set is unacceptable.

I have visited Dr. Malepati twice over the last few years. Perhaps it is just a bias for me, but I do not feel comfortable with her bedside manner. Even though I was about 5-10 pounds overweight, she said I was obese. I work out everyday at the gym, spin class three times a week, yoga twice a week and I work out with weights as well. My biggest problem with her is that she put me on two medications for Cholesterol and high blood pressure. I ahve no problem with that, but she would only give me a 30 day supply with no refills and she will not refill my prescription unless I make an appointment with her, which would cost me $200 each time. That's $2,400 per year. I now use GoodRx for my refills. Some of this may not be her fault, as she is part of the Wellstar Group, which is nothing more than a Cash Machine today.

My first visit with Dr V Malepati, she was very thorough, detail oriented, ordered labs, made referrals and was everything I needed in a PCP.

My physician of 20 years retired. I didn't know until I went for a physical a few years ago. I was surprised when I was greeted by a female doctor. I had never had one. I decided to push through and am I so glad I did! Dr Malepati is great. She's professional, personable, knowledgeable, good listener and takes her time to explain things. I can't imagine where I'd be without sticking with Veena!

Great caring and very professional physician. All the staff in the practice demonstrate how important all patients are to them. You can always count with the physician and the entire staff’ time and knowledge without feeling rushed. I’m so glad this is my PCP and the staff as well..

I took my in laws to her. They are 97 and 94. It took a few minutes longer to get them in the car and we were 13 minutes late. My father in law had a lot of chest congestion which is why we were taking him to the doctor. This pitiful excuse for a human being refused to see him because of being that few minutes late and she has previously left us sitting in the exam room for 30 minutes before coming in. Subsequently, my father in law ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. What kind of dr. much less a human being could treat a patient like this. She needs her license revoked and Wellstar needs to fire her.

The front desk are the most helpful I’ve ever encountered. The Dr compassionate and knowledgeable. 5 star here for sure.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Malepati in order to establish new primary care. So far I have only good things to say about the Dr and the staff! Will be going back.

Dr Malepati and her Staff go above and beyond! Its a pleasure!
