Vonda Klein's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Klein was incredibly rude to myself and my husband. I was trying to advocate for myself and she was unwilling to hear our input and then wrote an incredibly long and unprofessional message about me in my mychart (which I was able to read). My blood pressure has been high after giving birth and instead of hearing me and my experience she was rude and dismissive. I will not see her if I can avoid it.

If I could give her zero stars I would she is the worst physician in the entire practice!!! She has no manners and is rude. If you decided to try this practice out just be ware of her. She has been the worst part of my pregnancy.

If I could give 0 stars to this woman, I would. She was the worst and most traumatic part of my entire pregnancy. Imagine a medical profession referring to your unborn child as a “DEAD BABY” when you decline to get induced early. Verbatim said- “It won’t be my fault if it comes out as a dead baby” FYI - baby and I were fine, and I passionately refused to ever see this doctor again. The nerve!!

When prompted by the doctor of what I want to do about MY HEALTH or asked a question, I felt unheard. I was often spoken over with "okay okay okay." Not only was I unheard, I felt extremely stupid and uneducated leaving my appointment. After all of her time was spent on her laptop documenting our visit- I later read the summary to read things that were even a surprise to me. Sad that I have to find another practice due to one disrespectful doctor. There are so many options in Atlanta, don't go here if you value your own opinion about yourself.

I have been seeing Dr. Klein for about 4 years now. She is extremely personal and always takes as much time as I need with answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I had a previous breast cancer diagnosis and a hormonal imbalance. She is always knowledgeable about my condition.

The only OB/GYN to take my concerns and pain seriously, the only OB/GYN who took the time and energy to make me feel safe and respected in her office, the only OB/GYN who I will ever go to again. Dr. Klein did my laparoscopic and hysterascopic surgeries and the recovery was flawless. Zero judgement from her or her staff, and the front office staff are all the perfect balance of professional and personable. Be aware however- you will WAIT for your appointment. Not a speedy process. But the reason is because if Dr. Klein needs to spend an extra 10-15 minutes with a patient, she will. And she will for you too. You are going to be taken care of here.

Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. I doubt anyone at this practice would like to receive the treatment I received. Arrived early to my appointment and was taken to an exam room on time. The assistant told me Dr Klein would be there “in a few minutes”. I waited 50 minutes then got dressed and went to find someone to see what the situation was. They told me I was next after one other patient. Went back to the exam room and undressed, and again sat, and sat, and sat. After another 45 minutes I called the front desk to see if Dr Klein was going to keep the appointment and it so when. They sent an assistant back to say she’d be there in a few minutes. After waiting in the exam room for a total of an hour and 55 minutes Dr Klein came in, she appeared harried and in a hurry. It did not appear that she had read any for the information provided in a plethora of forms. She performed a quick exam and ordered a test. She did apologize. Too little to late. At no time while I waited an hour and 55 minutes did the staff check in with me. They did not advise she’d be running late or give me the option to rebook. In fairness to Dr Klein she was on call that day. At no time did the staff advise me that she was tied up with deliveries or give me any indication she’d be running late. This type of disregard for a patient is inexcusable. To put the icing on the cake... went back in the afternoon for the test, was taken back on time, test was performed, proceeded to the desk to pay, was told to check the patient information portal for my test results, um the same portal that they had not given me access to despite two phone calls, and the reason I had to arrive early to fill out paperwork. So no planned call from Dr Klein with the test results and next steps. If I could give her and her assistants a 0 I would.

I thought on this so I would not review from a point of anger. The two stars are for the staff at the Dallas Highway location. They seemed to listen and were helpful when called upon. That is truly the only positive feedback I can give for Dr Klein and this practice. I feel vacated, mocked and honestly a touch bullied as there is ZERO attention given to your thoughts or circumstances when your in her care. I wouldn’t want anyone else to feel this way so please be cautious if choosing this practice.

Excellent doctor!!! Best bedside manners! Came for a preconception appt and she assured me that everything was fine. Very personable and knowledgeable. Will be back for future appts!! :)
