List of Wellstar Hospice Care At Kennesaw Mountain's Reviews
We are so thankful for the compassionate care our father received at Wellstar Hospice Care at Kennesaw Mountain. While this was a deeply emotional time for our family, the entire staff showed incredible kindness, respect, and attentiveness—not just to our dad, but to each of us as well. Even though we knew we were nearing the end of his life, the care team created an environment of peace and comfort that allowed us to truly focus on our final moments with him. They made sure he was comfortable, treated with dignity, and surrounded by support. Their thoughtfulness and gentle presence meant more than words can express. We are truly grateful to every nurse, aide, and team member who walked alongside us during those days. Your compassion made all the difference. Thank you for being there for our family when we needed it most.
Would give a negative star rating if available. I'm glad others had a stellar experience. Got here, no one told us anything about patient meals, meds, hygiene, etc. Evidently, they supply NOTHING in the way of hydration or care. The family couldn't get there until several hours after the family member was admitted. Discovered nothing in the way of needed amenities, was provided. I'm talking about WATER. No water cup, water pitcher, a glass of water, etc until ice water came at dinner time, over 8 hours after the arrival. no water, no meds (I'm talking about for PAIN and comfort). Eventually brought a plate of food with starch and meat but not vegetables that the "guest" couldn't consume do to swallowing problems. Said they would give meds, but never did; even the one necessary to prolong their life. They could have laid in their own waste waiting for assistance from a staff member or died of dehydration if a family member wasn't eventually able to stop by. So, the claim that their service assists in a peaceful death was, at least for us, a gross fallacy. Unless you can be with your loved one at all times, DO NOT COME HERE. You can provide the same service at home with less emotional trauma and more convenience. Can't say if the staff is great because every time we asked a question the response was I don't do that, I'll need to get someone else. Still waiting for someone else. A nice hotel room with a private CNA would probably been more helpful and permitted death with dignity. Maybe not for the staff, but certainly all about $$$$$ for the business. Keep your loved one at home or take them elsewhere. Better to stay off hospice and continue going to the hospital. Care is much better and prompt. On a more positive note, the [lace is relatively peaceful and nice patio in each room if anyone is in shape to use it. Parking is also convenient and free.
Cared for my father in his last days. They were very compassionate, compelling and eager to see him live in peace
Wellstar Hospice team at KENNESTONE HOSPITAL is the most non empathetic, unorganized group to have to deal with while your love one is dying. If I could give them a -10, I would. I ended up leaving KENNESTONE HOSPITAL with my dying husband under the AWESOME, CARING group at AMEDYSIS HOSPICE. They sent a representative to Wellstar KENNESTONE 15 minutes after I hung up crying because WELLSTAR HOSPICE were not helping me. I will contact the Board and Foundation about my unbelievable experience. I don't want anyone to go through what I experience. It was horrible!!! By the way, I WAS ONCE A WELLSTAR "HOSPICE" "VOLUNTEER" AND WAS ASKED TO GO TO WORK FOR WELLSTAR HOSPICE, which I did. I loved helping the families and patients with this peaceful transition. A year after my husband's death, grief and therapy, I'm just able to express my hurt and dissapointment in Wellstar .
Wish I could give a 1,000 stars. My father was here for ten days the people are super super nice they don’t just worry about the patience the worry with family also. Every one of the workers there are angels. I cat say enough about this place it’s Very beautiful place and tranquil.
This a very clean caring wonderful place!
Mom was very well taken care of there for 14 days. The place is nestled in the base of Kennesaw Mountain and provides the most beautiful serene view. The terrace overlooked the forest and a beautiful garden. The place is clean, no weird smells lingering around , well updated, serine, tranquil and peaceful. The name is spot on! The staff is absolutely amazing! Mom's nurses, CNAs and physicians were very skilled, understanding, comforting, knowledgeable, and gracious. I couldn't have chosen a better place for mom's final days of her life. Mom's comfort, cleanliness and pain management were very important to the staff and were managed very well. I would highly recommend Tranquility Hospice to anyone who is loosing a loved one.
The staff at this facility are true angels. My brother was under their care for two weeks. Since I was not able to travel from PA to be with him, the nurses kept me up to date on his condition and never made me feel like a bother when I would call in. I would highly recommend this facility for end of life care.
My ex husband Jeff left this world from there and it was a peaceful beautiful facility. Caring, kind, compassionate,
This is the most beautiful and peaceful place. The staff was so amazing and caring. I can not recommend this place enough for those going through the end of life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
