Dr. Nelson is professional and caring cardiologist. She is straight forward, direct, dedicated and caring. Dr. Nelson was the vessel that God chose to use to save my life, after a difficult diagnosis. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Nelson, you rock!

I was looking for Dr. Nelson's information to share with someone I know and saw this review. It say's only "Customer service was horrible." I had to read it a second time before writing this because initially I read it as referring to Dr. Nelson (when I saw horrible). Dr Nelson, IMO, is the best cardiologist around!! She is tied for #1 with my current cardiologist. :-) I tell everyone that I probably would not be alive if I had not been seeing her. I tell everyone how she said to me, "Your stress test is fine, but I don't like your symptoms." She was absolutely correct!! She is not the laughing, smiing, talkative physician that some are; which is my personality, however, I always felt very comfortable with whatever treatment she prescribed for me and don't ever recall questioning her approach. She is excellent!! And for several years I missed her, until I met my current cardiologist.

I must say this says that the average time is 10 minutes. That is not true. I 've been to this Dr. 2 times and have to go again. If your appt. is 4 oc'clock you will be called in , but then you sit in the exam room for an hour waiting to see the dr. This is un called for. Her people are setting up appts. to close to each other and just piling them in. I will keep the appointment but if it happens again I certainly will change my doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Nelson for more than ten years. She is always thoughtful, listens to what I have to say, and arrives at a good plan. She is pleasant, very competent, and serious about her work. I recommend her to anyone with cardiovascular issues.

Dr. Nelson is a very good doctor. If you're looking for hugs, warm fuzzies, etc. that is not her personality. I like warm fuzzies, but I prefer the position that she initially took and continues to take re my medical problems. She is very knowledgeable and a concerned, caring physician, which are priorities. She has never prescribed expensive or brand name medications. I have recommended her several times.
