List of Piedmont Urgent Care By Wellstreet - Mcdonough's Reviews
They are running a scam charging your insurance for a doctor’s visit, when you go for a rapid COVID test.
Very bad experience. Avoid this place
My appointment time was an hour & a half ago. Reception won’t answer calls, so don’t bother. Ridiculous. Don’t recommend. If it’s that bad, just go to the ER or wait to see your doctor.
Wrote my review as a post explaining my displeasure 15 minutes ago and now it's gone. Find it and you'll know why I gave you a low score.
Customer Service is the very 1st thing I look for at any business. Whether it be a million dollar company or a local mom & pop grocery store. The nurse and Doctor that helped me were superb!!!! I mean totally awesome. This one star is for the young lady at the front desk with the extra weave. She was very rude. Did not hear a thing I had to say. Didn't answer any of my questions because she was too busy trying to over talk me while I was talking. So I chose not to participate in that challenge because of the amount of pain I was in. People come to "Urgent Care" for a reason and it probably because they have an serious health issue that needs immediate attention. You arguing with incoming patients is a major violation in the customer service field especially in the Medical World. You are the front line of the service that's about to be rendered. I said hello, you never responded. Through a face mask, you rambled about 200 words making it all sound like one sentence and the only thing I caught was insurance and payment cards. When I asked what did you say you said nothing and just ignored me. I felt so disrespected and belittled that if I had another option at that moment, I would've gone elsewhere. So I fill out the form she gave me and when she called me back to the desk, she's handing me a form authorizing their offices to charge my card $300 max, if necessary. Had she made that clear from the beginning, I would have given her a different card. YOU ARE TRULY A HORRIBLE REPRESENTATION OF THAT OFFICE!!!!!!! The actual staff that helped me physically (Nicole Flowers, NP and another young lady that gave me the antibiotic shot) were soooooooo wonderful. I am a staunch advocate of starting your day over as many times as necessary and during the 3-5 minutes I spent in the front lobby in your immediate circumference I had to start my day over about 3 times. I have managed plenty of offices throughout my lifetime and if any of my front line staff were to treat any of my paying consumers the way you treated me today, they would have been terminated immediately. Which is why I always told them, if your not in the mood (to work), find the mood. In other words, learn how to wear the mask (fake it) til the end of the business day. You can not disturb an incoming patients mental state of being. Otherwise, all the blood pressure readings will be abnormal which can lead to a misdiagnoses. Do you even realize the importance of your position? Do you even realize the impact you have on paying consumers that walk through that door? Do you even care enough to do your job properly? There are plenty of people who would be willing to do your job properly. Or maybe you think your irreplaceable. YOU ARE TRULY AN EMBARRASSMENT NOT JUST TO THAT OFFICE BUT TO THE WHOLE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY!!!!!! There are plenty of other places you can work that can keep you away from the general public. Maybe you need to try and be a file clerk in the health industry so you can give your non caring unprofessional attitude to the paperwork and you wont ever have to say anything to anyone at all.Once again, the nurses that helped me were wonderful and I would recommended them to my friends and coworkers. I would just tell them to be prepared to record you so they can show your bosses just how rude and non caring you really are. Overall, my purpose for coming was resolved within an hour and that was pretty awesome. In and out. Its just the front desk that needs to be terminated. You are suppose to show compassion, consideration and cooperation as the front line. Be glad I'm not your boss because you would definitely be terminated immediately!!!!
RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! Went in for pain, I was told to go across the street to a GAS STATION (QT) to do a urine sample!! Due to the pain I was experiencing, I wanted to feel better and listened to the "DR" They refused to run my insurance card, and made me pay $155.00 to simply tell me I was fine and suggested something over the counter.I went to another DR who luckily made use of their practice. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY! They do not practice their "MISSION,VISION, & CORE VALUES"I have reported this facility specifically the Dr. to the Gov. agencies accordingly.
When you take your 87 year old mom there in extreme pain knowing that the ER already diagnosed a fractured vertebrae you expect more than a urinalysis. Then when it is clear they discharge her and Recommend SalonPas patches. Huh?!?!?!?!?!?!?
The staff was thorough and I was seen very fast. The nurse practitioner Leanne Jobe listened and I am very happy with her decision. Coretta informed me of what step to take with instruction. My favorite urgent care by far when it's late and I can't see my primary care.
Currently still waiting in this place after 2 hours and 45 minutes. Do not come here.
Place should remove urgent from their name.I have been in and out of the emergency room quicker than even being seen here.A joke.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
